there are some pokemon that can evolve only if they are on ceirtain gender ~~cough cough salazzle~~,not only that but there are some pokemon that evolve on ceirtain pokemon acording tohis gender, and someof them are mega-ables ~~cough cough gallade and frosslass~~. Imagine hatching a SM snorut wanting a frosslass, but you hatched a male. so my suggestion is to add an item,maybe similar to the flutes that would increase the chance apokemon of certain gender (maybe similar to cute charm wich the gender depended on the first pokemon on party gender).
