“Uh...” she looked at the fox questionably. Was this some sort of trap? At least they were like her, or had earned powers. She was confused and panicky, reluctant to follow anyone and now very cautious of what she did. She never knew what could jump out of where. She sighed and followed the fox

Snaphet nods her head. She begins to walk, keeping on guard because of the girl behind her. "So, do you have magic or no." She asks as she starts heading home.

Feeling safe to reveal more information, she nodded. “I do, actually...” she muttered as she stayed a distance away from the girl, in case she decided to attack again. She felt a presence above her, something hostile and dangerous. She glanced around, but didn’t see a thing. Was it just her being to paranoid? Maybe, but she decided not to worry. Worry could quite possibly lead to her demise

Starting to fidget with the lace on her dress, she hesitantly replied. “I can manipulate fauna and flora, and speak to them as well...” she murmured as she walked. “I can also change the weather in specific areas at times.” She added in, much quieter this time.

There was no pain when Ilmatar's joints popped to allow for a greater range of moment, gliding across the canopy stealthily. Acute senses picked up the conversation as a smile crawled over a jagged mouth. Weather manipulation was a pain to fight against, as like with any reptile, Ilmatar was particularly sensitive to the cold. It froze ever cell within the body, slowing everything down to a crawling agony. The knowledge, however, only spurred the Ultimate on to keep a close watch over them. Although not appearing to be hostile, one could never be too cautious.

She nodded and continued to follow, watching out for the tree. If she wasn’t so curious and adventurous, she would’ve gladly raced back to the village she ran from. Some odd feeling kept her here, like how a guy feeling would lead someone down a path. It just felt right. As she walked, she closely observed the wildlife around her, identifying the ones she knew and closely examined the ones she didn’t.

Snaphet takes a right turn and there is a cave cover with vines in the front. She transform out the fox back to normal. "Home sweet home." She says to herself as she moves the vines over so Flay can walk in.

She observed the cave, slightly suspicious of it since it seemed like an enclosed space. After looking at it for a few seconds, Flay slowly walked in, wondering what would happen next. “Thank you.” She said to Snaphet out of respect.

"Oh my name...well you see here. If you tell me the truth." Snaphet says as she heads to her little kitchen. "Well I'm going to make some stew. But while making it, can you answer my question?" She starts getting the supplies to make the stew.

“I-It depends on what question it is...” she said, a bit of fear was in her voice. She hoped the question wouldn’t be too personal, since she wouldn’t have much of a choice if she answered it or not. She looked around the cave, trying to remember the layout in case she needed it for later

Pale eyes flickered open, squinting at the overwhelming information flooding in from acute eyesight. It seems the two had retreated into a cave of some sort. Having seen the structure once or twice, Ilmatar slunk down onto the side, keeping baggy clothes away from snagging branches to curl up in a patch of sun by the entrance of the cave. Of course, it wasn't so close that someone could spot Ilmatar from within the structure but still close enough for a regular human to listen in. Ilmatar could have easily chosen a stake out further away for safety and stealth but the warm sun didn't reach that far and if there was one thing that could elicit a purr to rumble from within the powerful chest, it would be the prospect of a nap under the dappled light

The questions overwhelmed her as she thought of the answers. How should she respond? Did she trust her? Should she tell the full story, or even tell the truth? She sighed before looking away. “Like I said... I’m Flay.” She muttered before looking back up at her. “I’m running because... Well I honestly don’t know why... and to answer that final question, I was born with this burden. I guess that’s why they are chasing me...” he voice faltered as she spoke, so when she ended the volume was a bit above a whisper.

Snaphet stops cutting the mushrooms and looks at Flay. "Hmm, as was I. People really do be jealous these days." She says as she now finishes cutting the mushrooms. "So how old are you? Last question." She then thinks to herself, 'She's an ally.'

“I’m 24...” she muttered as she looked at her, slightly worried that something might be up due to her sudden stop. She began to wonder if she should ask questions as well, but would that be rude? Come to think of it, she knew almost nothing about the girl. All she knew was that she was also an Alkarhak, and that she lived in a cave.
