You live in a world where human-like creatures called “Ghouls” roam around Tokyo. What’s so bad about Ghouls? Their diet consists of human flesh, and nothing else but coffee. Why can’t they eat anything else? Eating too much normal food could quite possibly kill them, but normally makes them very ill. Ghouls also have deadly Kagunes, something they use to defend themselves or kill. Kagunes are a predatory organ and functions as a weapon and/or claws.

Yosuke was sitting outside, his mask fully covering his face and his leather jacket loosely dangling around his waist. He didnt want to rip or damage it by using his Claws so he had taken it off, sitting on top of a roof top while eyeing the alleys to look for some prey to quickly take and eat. His Ukaku was out yet it was small , not even noticable, the Grayish Black feather claws were in their non crystalized form.

Kamie was sitting near the building of the CCG, waiting for her father to come back from work while also thinking about what she´d do if she was attacked by a Ghoul

Ally was walking around outside, her hood over her head. She tried so hard not to think of any bad things that happened with her and other humans. There were times she couldn't control her ghoul side when she sees an injured human, or one that was bleeding.

Yosuke continued eyeing the area around him, he´d probaly have to eat a ghoul again. No humans were near him and he didnt intend to mess around while walking around the city streets. He jumped off the rooftop he was sitting on and walked around the alley, already positioning some of the crystalized bullet like shards he used to attack his prey, he quickly noticed a ghoul chilling in the Alley, a teenager to be precised. His Ukaku flared up and the shards dug into their target quickly, going for a quick kill. Yosuke seemed satisfied

Hunched over a tree branch, Makki wiped the drool off his narrow chin, eyes roving around to search for anyone who had wandered into the park drunkenly, or alone. He was starving and his supply of meat had dropped dangerously low. A young woman tittered off the the side, and his eyes snapped towards the noise. A lone woman, talking on the phone walked down the isolated path of the park, laughing as she insisted that her friend hang up. Licking his lips, Makki stealthily slithered over the overarching branches to hunch over the woman as she put her phone back in her purse. Sensing his chance, the Ghoul dropped down silently, his Kagune softening the blow as the spindly appendages lifted his body off the ground. tilting his head, he began to slowly walk forward, very carefully staying silent as he neared his victim. Once he was close enough, one of his appendages darted forward and cleanly cut the head off the unsuspecting woman, nary a sound made save for the soft thump of a lifeless body dropping onto soiled grass. Chuckling to himself, Makki lowered himself down and quickly disemboweled and chopped the human up into easy to carry pieces, wrapping each part carefully in unsuspecting brown paper used in butcheries. He'd save them for later but he allowed himself the pleasure of gnawing on a finger while he worked. It didn't take long for the body to be dismantled and stored away as Makki shoved the parcels into a messenger bag he had left laying by a tree, the only evidence of a murder being the spilled blood. Licking his lips again, he sauntered back to his studio apartment, satisfied with his meal.

Stretching from her work desk, Kardia yawned and checked the time, balking at how late it had gotten. Grumbling profanities under her breath, the tired investigator pushed aside the mountain of paperwork and got up, grabbing the briefcase her Quinque was stored in and meandered outside. The crisp air burned her lungs as she breathed deeply. Some of her co-workers were still milling around, low murmurs of conversation bubbling around her. Her eyes caught the shine of moonlight reflecting off a curtain of white, and Kardia raised an eyebrow. She wasn't sure what Kamie was doing alone but then again Kardia usually went home earlier than this. Deciding to play nice for once, she sauntered over to the lonesome girl and sat down beside her. "Whach'a doing?" She asked simply, looking up at the night sky.

The young half ghoula looked at Kardia "oh.. I am just waiting for my father to finish whatever he is doing." she muttered, brushing some hair out of her face and smiling a little as Kamie then kinda looked up to the night sky as well

Confused as to who Kamie's father could be, Karida had to think about it a bit before snapping her fingers. "Right, him." She nodded, remembering who it was. "He should be done soon, hopefully. Old man's glued to his chair finishing up the latest report on Ghouls and believe me, you don't want to be in his place right now." She loved her job, the thrill of the chase as she hunted down yet another threat to the city, her Quinque sinking into soft flesh as it suddenly expanded into the devastating lance. It was exhilarating being out on the field, but what came after the hunt was always boring and painful. Paperwork was the bane of her existance.

Altari was finishing up her work at the shop, getting ready to leave. She was trying not to think about how starving she was. She knew she would have to eat some day... But why? Why did she have to do something so brutal? She sighed before putting the broom away and leaving. Her stomach grumbled loudly as she exited, the smell of human flooding her nose. She quickly closed her eyes to try and calm herself. As soon as she opened her eyes again, she went running to her house. She couldn’t hold up much longer. She felt like she was dying, the urge was too strong. Her friend had went to America for the month, so her only source of food was gone.

Yeah.. But he always takes so long to finish his papers" she sighed a little, stretching a bit, the training today was pretty tough yet she was starting to get used to it

Yosuke left half of the corpse in the alley, wiped some blood off of his mouth and made his Ukaku disappear. He then turned to walk towards the streets again. He noticed that he was pretty close to the CCG building and silently put his leather jacket back on, closing it to hide the stains on his white shirt. He´d have to burn it later. He narrowed his eyes a little as he passed the building

Ally walked over to a dark forest, slightly wanting to let her ghoul side out a bit. She saw a group of teenage boys walking by. She climbed onto a tree branch and watched them.

Stumbling into his studio apartment, Makki shoved his meat into the fridge, crossing off the sticky note that said "Grocery Shopping". Scribbling down a few fake notes to himself, such as "Buy Vegetables" and "Go visit Mom (probably)", he posted them on the fridge. Best to keep up the facade of living a normal human life. Turning to his creaky old bed, Makki sat down on it, looking out the only window in the room. He had hunted and he was full for now, but he couldn't help but feel restless.

"That's true." She shrugged, yawning. She wasn't as close to Kamie's father, but she still had to admit that both he and his daughter had done a lot for the CCG. "I'd help him but then again paperwork sucks so do I really want to?" Laughing mirthlessly, Kardia stretched again, hearing her points pop. "How's you're training, by the way?"

Its hard. " she sighed,kinda noticing Yosuke walk by. She didnt bother tho "They are expecting a lot and I cant really do everything they want me to do." Kamie sighed a little, as she turned back to Kardia

"Hey, don't beat yourself up over it. You're doing great work." Kardia rushed to say, not noticing Yosuke at all. Not a smart Investigator, this one. "You're one person but you've already done great stuff. Probably more than any of use Ranked Investigators." She wasn't great at comforting, but she was trying her best

She slowly got her phone out, her hands quite shaky. Why not pass the time on her phone? She looked at the news, her eyes heavy and her stomach screaming for food. All she saw on the news were the newest ghoul attacks. Why was she doing this to herself...? She set her phone down on the stand next her her and got ready for bed.

Yosuke sighed in relief and continued walking as he dissappeared into the nearest alley, one of his footprints a little bloody. Filthy// he thought, a little grossed out. He hated Being bloody like that. He hated being filthy or even a bit dirty

"It's no problem. You're a great and anyone would be a fool to not see that." Kardia encouraged, staying on the bench. She'd wait until Kamie's father showed up

Yawning, Makki wrote another note to buy fresh meat, this time writing it in a green sticky note to set it apart from the rest of the faded yellow. That one was actually important and he wanted to remember it. Crawling into his bed, Makki threw in the light blanket that served as his covers and drifted off into a restless sleep

Finally her father left the building, the investigator seemed really tired yet he still smiled at Kamie and Kardia. He probaly had worked way too much again but That was fine for him.

Ally felt rage building inside her as she continued watching the teenage boys walking around. "At least this is a dark forest..." she thought, her eyes changing red and her scorpion-like tail appearing.

"Evening, sir." Kardia nodded to the older man. "I'll be leaving now, take care on the way home." She hesitated before flashing a small smile and walking off, suitcase in hand as she cut through the park on her way home. There was a group of teenage boys and she stayed clear of that group, taking a side path to avoid them. She didn't want to take any chances in case the boys were of the unsavory sort.

She leaped onto one of them, stabbing the weaker boy first with her scorpion-like tail. The other two backed away, unable to help their friend. Ally bit onto him, just to make him quiet before glaring at the other two, growling angrily.
