He expected to have the the battle won so the leap she gave caught
him off guard. He was knocked over however a swift roll to the side
and a pound to her side by his forepaws came flying in.
Smokepaw snorted with amusement. "Daylight warrior?" His tail
curled at the tip. The heck was a daylight warrior? He thought he'd
heard the term before...but wasn't that SkyClan's thing a long time
ago? "I'm pretty sure WindClan doesn't do daylight warriors.
Go home, kittypet!"
Yewleaf wasn't expecting her to get back up so he was knocked clean
over. Before she could act on it, he rolled to the side and pounded
his forepaws against her side.
Rainstar had heard of daylight warriors. "No, no you cannot. I will
only accept cats who are willing to devote themselves purely for
the good of the clan, their clanmates, the Warrior Code and
StarClan. If you live your life with your heart in two places, you
have no place in a WindClan." Rainstar sounded disturbed, and
somehow disappointed. His tail flicked annoyedly.
"I see..." Calico' ears slightly folded sadly. She dipped her head
respectfully. "I'm sorry to bother you then." Her tail flicked on
the ground slightly in irritation.
"Don't assume other people think the same way you do."

Calico winced, slightly losing her balance. Her leg started hurting
again. "I forgot my leg was still healing..." she thought, glancing
at the exit of the camp.
"Don't assume other people think the same way you do."

Silverstrike sat next to Smokepaw as she watched what was going on.
She flicked her tail impatiently. She didn't think that any
kittypet could become a clan cat. Maybe a loner could since they
didn't live with Twolegs. But a kittypet? Forget it.
Mintpool had poked his head out of the den and looked at the
commotion before going back to sorting herbs.
Shadewisp was patrolling the border that Shadowclan had with
Riverclan.
"The other clans might acccept you, but my WindClan warriors are
loyal to their clan and eachother. Every single one of them. We're
closest to StarClan as we sleep under the stars, I doubt a kittypet
would understand our ways." Rainstar's tone began sympathetic but
ended bitter.
Yewleaf looked down at his apprentice. "I have an idea," he turned
towards the expansive moorland. "We'll hunt, train your muscles.
But first, a warm up. Run to the bottom of the moor and back up.
The whole thing." He meowed, looking at his appprentice
challengingly.
Calico dipped her head again respectfully. "If that's your final
decision," she began softly, "then I will leave and not come back."
She looked back at Rainstar respectfully, standing up.
"Don't assume other people think the same way you do."

Rainstar blinked at her blankly, turning to his deputy
dismissively. “Make a group, we’re leaving to meet the other
leaders soon.” He meowed blankly, his eyes lowered in a lazy
expression.
Calico glanced back at the camp before strolling away. "Guess
either I could try another Clan or head back..." she murmured
softly, leaving WindClan territory.
Frostfur and Darkwind were sitting outside the Warriors den,
watching Cedarkit. "Is she eventually becoming an Apprentice?" the
tom asked, glancing at his mate. "I'm not too sure..." she mewed
softly.
"Don't assume other people think the same way you do."

Skunkpaw had sorted herbs last night, and was snozing in her nest
as she had been since she had lay down. She still had no knowledge
of the upcoming meeting.
Smokepaw had finished his meal and looked up at the sound of his
mentor's voice. "Okay!" He answered excitedly
