The Treecko was quite a heavy sleeper, so it didn’t notice that the Spearow had left. A desperate cry woke him up, so he went to check it out. The Treecko groggily went to the window, only to see the Spearow get attacked by 4 larger Spearow. He instantly got defensive and angry as he fired a leaf storm.

The Leaf storm hit but because of match up types wasn't very effective and only suceesed in angering the flock of four tough looking Spearow. Two of them split from the Spearow and one flew up high (Fly) while the other smacked the Treeko with it's wing (Wing Attack). The other two were flinging dirt/sand/grass at Treeko's Spearow friend (Sand Attack).

The Treecko winced at the wing attack, then watched the Spearow fly into the sky. He knew he had to do something, but how could he beat 4 Spearow and save his friend? He used double kick on the Spearow using Sand attack and prepared to do something against the ones that flew in the air.

Makura heard something come from the direction of her house, like something was getting attacked. She raised an eyebrow and turned around, walking back to her house.

Dragonite landed next to Emily. It looked at the Lopunny and grinned. Lopunny grinned back. "It seems you two are getting along well." Ally smiled, watching the two.

She saw the commotion outside and ran towards the Treecko. That thing didn’t leave? She looked around to see what was going on and saw a Spearow attacking a smaller Spearow.

The Spearow that recieved the double kick was knocked down but righted itself up, it squaked in anger then charged at the Treeko

"Rita! Psychic!" A blast of purple energy knocked down the charging flying type barreling towards Treeko, and it stayed down, defeated. Melody had heard the commotion and her Ralts teleported herself and trainer over to the fight. "That sounded so werid coming from me. Rita, help the Treeko." Melody didn't actually have a plan, but seeing a pokemon hurt made her heart sting, even in the games she fretted over her party if they were injured. Melody grabed a nearby fallen tree branch and smacked a spearow attacking Treeko's friend. "Shoo!"

Rita floated over to the Treeko and used Disarming voice on the other Spearow that was attacking Treeko.

Treecko was already pretty worn out and scratched up. He leaned against a tree and watched Rita take out the Spearows.

Makura stood there, watching this happen. She felt a bit of sympathy towards the Treecko. Maybe I will take care of it... She didn’t bring her team with her, so she was left without Pokémon while she was here. Her father insisted, since he didn’t want her to go binge-battling while she was here. He knew her all too well.

The two remaining Spearow quickly fled seeing as they were out matched. The Spearow was as just as worn out and scratched up as the Treeko, but pushed herself up and shook herself to try to unruffle some of her feathers.

Rita spoted the berries and pulled some off for the Spearow and Treeko and Charizard and herself. Rita then nibbled on her Sitrus berries.

The berries landed at the feet of Treeko and Spearow. Spearow gave a happy cry and ate an oran berry.

Melody watched them. "You poor thing." Melody storked the Treeko's head, not wanting to pull him away from his berries. "Where's your trainer? Do you have one?"

The Treecko picked up a berry and bit into it. He looked at Melody and shrugged. Did he have a trainer? He was stuck with Makura, but she didn’t exactly accept him. He saw her out of the corner of his eye and smiled.

Makura went up to Melody and greeted herself. “Hey, I’m Makura. Thanks for saving Treecko, I should’ve been here sooner...” she said, rubbing her neck.

Melody waved it off. "It's okay. We have to look out for each other right?" Rita gave a hum of agreement as the Spearow looked at Makura.

A higher up Team Dark grunt was in the bushes, throughly hidden, he had watched the interaction go down and scirbbling it down on note pad and pen.

Snowflake

After several more attempts Snowflake finally managed to escape the Team Dark hideout, with a slight gimp in her step she headed towards the nearest town.

The Spearow watched, though happy for friend, she felt a tad jealous and a bit saddened. She stopped unruffling her feathers and just watched as Treeko and Makura make up.

Treecko noticed Spearow’s change of mood and looked at her. He hugged her and looked at Makura. His look seemed to say “can we keep her?”

Of course, she accepted. “Sure, why not.” She lightly chuckled and smiled at the Spearow.

The Spearow flew from Treecko's grasp and fluttered up in the air excited, then it landed on Makura's shoulder and nuzzled her cheek chirping happily.
