So I was finally able to purchase all egg Radar chips and I was wondering about the legendary chip. When I'm looking click on the drop down for the pokemon I dont see any legendary names. Is this normal?

You have to get certain stones, like a Resolute Stone.

There are 3 types of stones, they are called:
You can only get 4 Legendaries in tall grass:

Enigma Stone Used to hunt Latios and Latias. Can be found in boxes.

Resolute Stone Used to hunt Keldeo. Can be obtained my Professor Rowan for having 200 Eggdex Entries. And Mystery boxes.

Nebula Stone Used to hunt Cosmog..Can be found while Rumbling in the Alolan Map.


At first I was also confused, so my Newbie Mentor answered my question.

Also, keep in mind the daycare quest can be unlocked at lvl 20. after the quest, you unlock the alolan rumble for the nebula stone, and get the alolan egg radar chip.
