She looked around and noticed everyone had fallen asleep. She wish
she could too, but she just couldn’t. She stood up and quietly
walked to the entrance. She noticed a forest to her right, but
decided not to go in there. She slowly stepped outside of the cave
and took a look at the stars. Where she lived, she could never see
them. The night sky seemed like an illusion, a fantasy. She was in
awe by how the stars twinkled, how the moon shone a soft light, and
all the shapes she could see. She continued to slowly walk as she
looked up.
She heard rustling in the forest beside her and she froze. What was
that? She wasn’t ready to attack anything, much less see what it
is. She turned a bit to face the forest in case something was
trying to use the element of surprise.
Andriobe noticed he was getting a little close to the tree line. He
also noticed that he made a lot of noise, so he tried to be more
quiet. He looked up and saw Delphie a few feet away from him. Were
they the only one out? He slowly crept closer to the edge of the
woods.
Delphie began to see a yellowish creature come out of the woods.
She stayed put, but she was shaking.
He came closer to Delphie, almost fully out of the forest. Once he
was, he didn’t move any closer. He didn’t want to startle her.
“What are you doing...?” He said quietly in a more threatening
tone.
“I-I...” her voice was shaky. Once she saw that it was the Zeraora
hybrid, she became more scared. She was afraid that he would hurt
her.
He examined Delphie and noticed that she was scared of her. She had
a good reason to. He sighed as he stood up straight and looked at
her. He saw someone else come out of the cave, but didn’t care much
about it.
Spiri watched. She couldn't see exactly who she was looking at, but
she prepared to attack if necessary. She didn't know this Darkrai
girl very well, but as far as she was concerned, this group needed
to stick together more than anything
“I-I couldn’t sleep...” she whimpered, hoping she could slowly walk
away without getting hurt. She felt a presence behind her, probably
someone from the cave. Hopefully they would protect her if Andriobe
decided to attack. But then again, she couldn’t count on them to do
that.
Andriobe let out a short exhale. So that’s why... He looked
up for a few seconds before looking back at Delphie. “Go back
inside the cave. It’s safer in there than out here...“ he mumbled
before he began to turn around.
She nodded and turned around, looking at Spiri. Was she watching
the entire time? She quickly walked back to the entrance, hoping
the Zeraora wouldn’t change their mind.
Andriobe looked back at Delphie as he was walking away. To be
honest, he would’ve normally been rude is someone else was in that
situation. He just felt... different towards Delphie. He smiled as
he turned his head and walked back into the forest.
She walked back in the cave, careful not to go to fast in case it
made Spiri uneasy. She sat down in a dark corner, hoping she had
better luck at sleeping.
Andriobe decided to go on top of the cave. He didn’t really like
being in the forest, it was too hidden. He climbed the steep rocks
and found a flat surface he could sleep on.
Spiri watched the others, she hadn't slept since waking up in the
night. She wanted to keep moving to escape the shadow Pokemon and
get rid of this curse.
