From what I've gathered, you need to get one of two apples at the honey tree to evolve Applin. How do you get these apples, do they appear when a normal pokemon would appear, or is it a completely separate appearance that could appear any time (hence the question does constantly reloading the page work?).

I'm not 100% sure what exactly you need to do in order for your Applin to evolve (if it needs to be a certain level, etc.)

But it all depends on the type of honey you use.

Normal Honey lets them evolve into Flapple
Whereas Super Honey lets them evolve into Appletun

Mine just evolved when I visited the tree, and he's at lv. 56. So I'm not sure if it's a random thing, or after a certain level they can evolve. (Someone might know better than I do >>)

I'm guessing it's a random thing considering I now have a level 3 Appletun.

Can someone help me ive been told you have to use honey to evole applin i have them holding both a super honey and a regular honey and have leveled several times and nothing can someone help?

You have to brush honey on honey tree and wait for apples to arrive instead of pokemon and then you can evolve applin.
