Crystal felt weird again and coughed out more. She was feeling pain and was panicking. She didn't want to see her blood. It made her remember her abusive parents. "No, no..." she thought, bad memories racing in her head.

He looked down. Why was this stranger - sure, his teacher, but still a stranger - being so kind? he raised his hand and coughed into it a few more times, blood ripping onto his lap as he hastily wiped it off his unnaturally skinny hand. He couldn't think of anything to say, so said nothing.

Crystal then felt dizzy, too many bad memories buzzing in her head. Again, she coughed more blood onto the ground. "Stop it," she thought, panicking more.

Queen hummed as he flipped through documents strewn around in the back room of The Specter. So far he had identified a few students. Mishati Otako, Kaxsto Lashiti, Crystal, Hirotsu Ikusaba, Shi Nanase, Kiara and Icarus Tahami, the list went on and on. One that caught his eye was Arekkusu, however. The student seemed to have everything. A hero father, a powerful quirk, getting into UA. Frowning, Queen threw Arekkusu's transcript on the table. His mind flashed back to how he was acting during the exams and began to wonder if anything was actually amiss. Arekkusu's father was the number 5 hero right? Pushing off the couch, Queen wandered to the other three, an idea brewing in his mind

"I-I don't want people to worry." He mumbled. "I don't need to be worried about." His unruly blue hair swept over his face as he shook his head, trying to hide the tears that had slowly welled up during the exchange with this unusually caring person. He didn't get it. All these heroes were out for fame, money, popularity. So why...?

Violet wasn't paying any attention. She was still staring out the window, watching Crystal. "Poor Crystal," she mumbled.

Back outside, she was still panicking, more memories getting in her head. Again, more of her blood was spilling onto the ground, making her panic more.

Crystal wasn't paying attention to when the bell even was going to ring. Her mind was buzzing with memories. She was still panicking.
Violet was still watching her, biting her lips in a worried way. "Does her panicking have something to do with her family?" she asked herself, looking at the floor thougtfully.

Pushing open the door of The Spectre, Queen smiled as he exited the parlor. His idea had been approved! Returning back to UA to see if he could catch any other people coming in or out of the school, he unconsciously tapped out a small beat on his phone case. A whole day without school on a weekday. Wow that felt amazing. But he'd have so many more of these kinds of days. It was hilarious. Overnight, he went from a top student to not even getting into high school! Ah, but it would be fine. He already had a job and that was good enough for him.

He continued trying to stem the flow of his tears. He couldn't hear the people around him, and his mind buzzed. Buzzed. Buzzed.

Dabi shuffled through the new papers. Out of the students who had made it in, he wasn't very surprised. He looked at the rejects.

...Queen?

That was the other kid he was going to try and recruit. That's a shame. He turned back to Arekkusu's document, separated from the rest. Their family situations were similar. Both had trauma from the abuse of their fathers, and their fathers were both pro heroes. He had not told Arekkusu which hero family he came from, but figured Arekkusu would figure out in time. He sighed.
