Okay, my question is this:
When is DETERMINED if a safari zone pokemon is going to be mega-able?
Don't confuse whit "when you can know if is a mega-able"

The level is determined qhen you catch it, the mega stuff to?

Pretty sure it works the same way as the Beach, in that it's determined after claiming it.
