Ruby's ears twitched a little as it got warmer. She didn't seem to completely like it. Mira noticed and placed a paw on her, which helped calm Ruby.

Kiwi preferred extreme cold to extreme warmth, in cold environments, she had the capacity to warm herself by heating the water flowing through her body by partly using scald, in warm environments, all that would do is waste energy and increase the unpleasantness. At least she had a type advantage on Groundon's ground typing with water and ice moves.

Being a Steel Type complicated things for him due to the numerous ground and fire types here. He was a lot more cautious than usual

Gadian had to take his hood down, the whole of his face was sweating. The patch of fur around his eyepatch was damp with wet, an uncomfortable moistness around his head. He kept his axe in his sweating hands, watching out for enemies around.

Kiwi looked at Yung and suddenly thought about her own type advantage. When a pokemon came close, she began charging up a scald, which only warmed her sweating body up when it turned out they didn't attack, but at least if they did, it wouldn't be that big of a deal because their attacks would do much...

They moved quickly. Around 15 floors in there was a statue. “A small rest here...check over your items.”

Ruby was a bit weak so she took one of the Oran Berries and ate it, replenishing her strength. Mira seemed fine though.

Kiwi didn't want to waste food, so she just sat and waited, wiping of sweat in attempts to cool off and decrease her discomfort

She swung her sword out towards Yung, pouncing towards him with an aggressive look on her face.

Gadian fired off a giga impact which was met by another in response, an explosion pushing the two away.
