Demon flew towards some trees. "DIE, I HATE YOU, I HATE YOU." she touched a bunch of trees and watched them burn.
His smile has a grip on me <3

Brimstone walked into the clearing. She had come back for Pine. She saw blood, ice and scorch marks everywhere. There was a line of blood leading further into the forest. "PINE!" she yelled despratly as she ran, tracking the blood. She reached a small pond that was turned red with Pine's blood. She had a long gash running down her side and many scratches covering her.

Pine lifted her head. "Br-Brimstone?" she said seemingly unable to talk. "I-I'm sorry. He got away... He was able to break the vines... I forgot to bind his talons and mouth..." she lay her head back down on the blood-soaked ground. "Wait there! I'm going to get help!" Brimstone said rushing back in the direction of the Rainwing village. *It's not like I can move even if I wanted to...* Pine thought darkly.

"Wheres Pine and Brimstone?" Nightshade asked the trees. *over there* they whispered. She followed the trees instructions and comes to a clearing where she sees Pin lying down with blood everywhere. "Pine are you okay?" "I can stabilize you if you want"

Pine let out a mournful groan. "Br-Brimstone went for h-help." she stammered.

Brimstone raced into the Rainwing village. "EVERYONE COME QUICK! PINE IS HURT!" she yelled as she entered the healer's hut.

Doomhunter landed outside the Scorpian Den *Now I just have to wait...*

Shadowslayer landed next to Doomhunter. She had decided what to say. “I was wondering...”

Aurora looked up from Shine to stare at Brimstone. “What happened?” She asked. Lyrebird, the sisters’ RainWing mother, rushed in.
“MY DRAGONET!!!” She sobbed. Lyrebird had been alerted of the attack as soon as possible.

“So I want to join you and get my revenge on all the hybrids.” Shadowslayer finished, having told Doomhunter her story. She watched hopefully as he considered this.

"Doomhunter got free! Pine is really badly hurt!" Brimstone sobbed.

"Gladly. We will make a team no one can beat." He said with an evil smile. "Come on, let's go tell Queen Thorn. It's not like you look like a hybrid." he muttered so that only she could hear. "We don't even have to tell her that you are a hybrid."

Pine lay still as she waited for Brimstone to bring help. "N-Nightshade, thanks for s-staying with me..."
Brimstone led the way to where she had left Pine.

"The palace is this way." Doomhunter said before taking off.

Pine lay motionless as she heard approaching footsteps.

Shadowslayer followed Doomhunter, heart thumping in anticipation of an assignment. Her head was bursting with possible ways to catch hybrids. “What about traps? Have you tried them? I’m good at them- I’ve caught so many birds and lizards!” Then a shocking thought struck her. “Have you heard that story about the SandWing/SilkWing hybrid? Apparently she catches dragons in her webs and EATS them...”

Having left Lyrebird with Shine, Aurora followed Brimstone to the injured Pine. She gasped when she saw the damage Doomhunter had done. “How dare he!”
Then, she helped Brimstone to carry Pine back to the RainWing village and to the Healers’ hut. When they were all inside, Aurora asked the healers and Lyrebird to leave. The hybrids needed to talk.
“This is all because of some stupid prophecy!”

“We need to know who the crazy NightWing who made this prophecy was. Then we can all go yell at him.” Shine said, and Aurora turned to see her sitting up wearily. But instead of crying in relief, she nodded solemnly. “Things are going to change from now on. We’ve already met the hybrid Queen Thorn has employed to hunt us down, and we have no idea if he wants to kill us or capture us. I’ve heard that all of the Queens except Queen Glory have captured some of their hybrid citizens, so we need to be on guard.”

Pine lay where they put her down She just listened to the conversation.

Brimstone sat really close to Pine. She wanted to make sure she didn't get hurt any more than she was already. "I have to agree with you.. I bet every Queen that is aginst hybrids sent out an assassin or captor..." she said with a sigh.

"Actually I haven't..." Doomhunter said looking at Shadowslayer. "But that's a perfect example of how evil some hybrids are. OK, we are here." he said approaching the palace gates. He walked inside.

“What if there’s some meaning to this prophecy that the Queens misunderstood? Maybe we should find whoever made this prophecy and ask them.” Aurora suggested.

Pine spoke up from where she lay. "How do we know that the seer is pure Nightwing?" she asked. "Whoever spoke this prophecy could very well be dead or in prison."

Brimstone considered what Pine said. She nodded in agreement.

Doomhunter walked inside the palace. "Well?" Queen Thorn asked.

Shine thought about this before adding, “Good idea- but we might as well check with Moon- I think she’s visiting Secretkeeper if she hasn’t left already.”

Shadowslayer bowed before the SandWing Queen.
Aurora’s ears pricked up. She heard the sound of a dragon’s hyperventilating as they flew in the direction of the Queen’s Pavilion. “Something’s happening,” she warned.
