"How are we gonna deal with those criminals? Our Guild is small,
they have way more members. And they live on the other side of the
mountain." Reye responded to Shaye.
Rox spoke up. "In a way, Miko is right. Our Guild was mostly built
up of poor pokemon injured by the Outsiders, more daring rescues
may be our only hope to survive out here."
Obsidian considers this for a moment. "Our Guild is young, yes. I
started it to deal with the Outsiders, and we don't really stand
much chance yet. But there is something you must all understand,
not that I don't think you don't already, but just in case. The
Outsiders aren't just a aggressive mountain group. Recently, the
Outsiders have been venturing out of the mountains and hurting
people beyond." She took a deep breath. "So, if Miko is right and
we need to seek more members, then someone should go out soon."
Obsidian nodded to Shaye. "Though, when we 'seek members' looking
to rescue from the Outsiders may be too big a risk. There is a
small town a day's journey from this mountain that I send some
pokemon for supplies. It may be worth asking around."
"But what if we find someone who does need to be rescued?" Miko
asked. "I need to evolve!"
"It's a day's journey, so we might have to hunt something on the
way. Can you hunt?" She spoke, already walking, and didn't wait for
an answer. "Ooh! Or maybe berries? Hmm, never tasted mountain
berries..." Miko trailed off, lost in thought.
"True, just thinking ahead. Good thing we're setting out so early,
huh? Oh I just hope some Outsider tries to attack us!" Miko
switched from two legs to four mid-sentence.
