"May I take you out to dinner, sir?" Arlaekh asked cheekily, emphasizing the title she was supposed to address him with while at work. What could she say, this veil was making her feel much more daring than she normally would've.

Callise smiled, then stood up. “Yes you may.” He was too much of a coward (at the time) to ask her, so this made him feel relieved and happy.

She winked at him, before heading out the door, mischief dancing in her eyes. Her feelings were largely ambiguous now, due to the red veil she wore. "Wonderful. I'll let you pick the place."

“Why, such a great honor.” He joked. There was a restaurant a few miles from where they were, and it was a special tradition for him and his parents to go there every year. It was pretty expensive, so no one usually went.

A low whisper of a sensual chuckle was Arlaekh's only response. She then went downstairs to the training room, grabbing some water bottles on the way. She didn't do anything too strenuous so that she would be sore later, but she needed to keep up her physical shape so that she would be able to complete the mission.

Arlaekh was pacing in her room, having already taken a shower and gotten ready for her date. Whatever files or paperwork she had needed to complete lay on her table in neat stacks. Her red dress waved and billowed around her while she waited for her date. She had taken her veil off when she bathed, but since she was going to look formal...she had put it back on.

He had somehow fallen asleep as he was waiting. He woke up, noticing it was only 30 minutes until the date. “Oh cr—...” he quickly took a shower, put on his red and black suit, combed his hair, and grabbed his keys. He picked up his phone and dialed Arlaekh’s number. “Are you ready?”

"Waiting on you, mister." Arlaekh crooned in a sultry yet patient tone, her red veil shifting with the movement of her lips, "You know it isn't polite to keep a lady waiting."

He thought for a bit, shocked by the response. “I’m not good at this...” he said under his breath. “Fine, I’m leaving without you.” He said, trying not to laugh.

Arlaekh shrugged, "I don't think you will be~" She cut off with a laugh before walking over to the window. Rolling her shoulders revealed two brilliant ginger wings. Opening it up, she crawled out and jumped. She free-fell for one minute before her wings caught an updraft and she soared to the entrance. Since he hadn't seen her, she hid in front of the entrance.

He put his phone up and started the car. He decided to take a shortcut, not really knowing why he did. He arrived in the empty parking lot, the restaurant lights glowing dimly in the night. He got out and straightened his jacket.

There was a flutter of wings and Arlaekh appeared at the driver's windowside, completely unruffled. She knocked on the side of the window, mouthing What the hell? while laughing

“Yes we shall.” He smiled, feeling better than he had in years. They walked into the restaurant and an old man was at the counter. “Welcome Cal, been a few years!” He greeted them and stepped out of the counter. “Who’s the lucky lady?” He chuckled.
