If only she knew... Aurora watched Madison as she flew away. She looked at her hand (or what ever they are called on a dragon), remembering the time she had human hands. It was a few thousand years ago, but she still remembered, just like she remembered the torture and pain.

(You guys were born dragons, but they can live for a while so that’s why Aurora is pretty old)

Aurora was so distracted, she forgot to not think about him. As a result, metal started to form and recreate the scene that happened so long ago. With disturbing detail, it showed her as a human, strapped to a cart with cushions (those weird surgery beds), struggling to get out. It also showed a scientist and his assistants, preparing for the experiment.

She backed up, watching the scene in terror. “S-stop! Make it stop!” She tried to Will the metal to go back to the earth, but she couldn’t. The scene then showed her being sedated and attached to a lot of machines, some uncomfortable and painful.

Aurora stood paralyzed with fear. She couldn’t do anything, she could only watch.
The scene showed her movements slowing down, then stopping. The scientists injected a lot of needles into her, then moved back. It should begin in 24 hours a metallic voice said. She remembered it being one of the assistants

Aurora watched the scene speed up until the scientists came back. She watched herself wake up and saw her body start violently shaking. She began to feel the pain her metal self did. It was unbearable. So unbearable that she fell to the ground and yelled.

Madison felt a pin in the back of her head, something was wrong but what? She decides to go back to the main cave and re-group with her friends. she doesn't need to alert her friends with her failure self

Madison felt another Pin this time knowing it was one of her friends . She tried flying harder but she was going to fast. She tried another fire Dragon power and failed. I can't even do it for my friends

The scene continued, then replayed. It added onto the pain every time it passed a specific part in the scene. She was still on the ground, yelling in pain

By the time Madison got there Aurora was on the ground metal all around here,She wasn't moving but she was awake, her eyes twitching

Madison realized it was sleep paralysis
