Meanwhile, Akina, impatient and sneaky, pounced on Night from behind.
She yelled loudly, "BOO!" in an attempt to get back at her for scaring her before.
It was actually kinda fun doing this...she almost forgot that this was supposed to be serious training in case of a threat...oh well...maybe there were no threats after all...?

Aki stopped mid-pounce after her big scream and whirled her head towards Silver. She lowered herself gently to the ground with her wings and asked her and Maddy, "Wait...what's wrong? Is everything okay?" Her ears lowered when she saw the concerned, fearful looks on their faces and she gulped forcefully. Why did she think that there wasn't gonna be any threat? There were always threats!!!
"Lemme guess...is it predators? Bears? Mountain lions? ...Humans??"

Akina hesitantly and warily closed her eyes and sniffed the goop, ears twitching. She didn't really believe them at first, but it looked like this was real, it wasn't a dream, and...well...she barely had enough training to fight against them.
"Where did you find it? In the forests?" Aki asked quietly. She hoped it wasn't found near her home or favorite trees...

Aki stared in wonder, confusion, and awe at the goop again. She didn't feel very afraid even though she knew she should be.
"I think the other wolves are training...I'll go out and look for them! We can meet up here and show them the goop!" Akina said, determined, before already taking off and flying into the clouds with a short burst of speed.
