Winter sat back in his seat after reading the directions. He hoped
Mr. Fen wasn't in too bad of a mood, and that he'd be cheered up by
tomorrow, but he knew that it all depended on how everyone behaved
today.
Crystalline glanced at the clock, still plenty of time left in
class. Darn. Gym sounded fun right about now, but it looked like
they'd be stuck in science waiting to use a tank of water. Cool as
that was, she knew there would be less water and more 'dropping
things into the water'. She sighed
"Eh, just bored." Crystalline responded, she sat back where she was
rested, looking serene in her stance even though she was feeling
less epic and more bored out of her mind. Clearly the other groups
were making no effort to hurry up, and the teacher seemed to be
taking every excuse not to bother and just glared out over the
class. She shuffled her paws on the carpet, trying to contain her
anticipation
The teacher first called Emerald's group to use the tank first.
Thinking, Finally, Crystalline gathered the materials and
walked over to the massive container of water, stopping in front of
it and gazing in. Due to her species, Crystal was always fascinated
by water, even when its current purpose was to test if certain
objects' density was higher than water.
Crystalline nodded at Emerald. "You have the stuff, right?" She
glanced back at the water again, waiting to see if her predictions
were right. She was pretty certain they were.
