“Oh um... I guess it does. It tires me just a little bit but I have to be careful. Look, I wasn’t in control of what I was doing. I had to fight off a force while getting you in, it tired me and took over... I could hear and feel what I was doing, but I couldn’t move or see.” Mai said. She followed them and heard their conversation. It had to be her sister that did that. No other dragon could do that. But, why?What was she doing? She was confused on why Chio thought they were in a relationship. She didn’t like anyone on the island, but she was ok with being friends with a few dragons.

"Okay. Sorry. I thought that side effects of your magic were causing you to lose control over yourself. It's not that hard to believe," he added so that he didn't look insane. "For instance, side effects of my magic are: headaches, blackouts, memory loss, and occasional... other thing." He didn't like telling people that, but he had to because of Mai's problems. He figured it might have been that crystal dragon... THE CRYSTAL DRAGON!!! She was still out there. He needed to destroy her fast. Whatever she was planning, it couldn't be good.

“Yeah it’s not the first time I’ve heard that. Honestly, I don’t know all the side effects of using my magic.” Mai said. She was starting to question Alex’s behavior... “Hey Alex, why did you try to pin me down when you just wanted to know what my eyes were doing? You could’ve asked...” Mai had to talk to her sister. If she was the one doing this, she had to stop her.

Alex didn't have time for this. He needed to stop the dragon that had injured Mai. "Listen, I'll tell you after this, Ok? Right now we've got. bigger fish to fry. Do you know where the dragon went?" Wait. Yes we do. No timelines have happened were anything bad happened, right? so they did have time. "Okay, so basically, when your magical source runs low on magic, it starts to draw from the energy in the body. So, I was trying to give you an energy bomb." Now he needed to get to the crystal dragon.

“She went to a meadow, my home. She’s waiting for me there. In fact, she’s my sister. I can’t read her mind so that’s a problem” Mai said. What Alex said about his actions made since, so she decided not to ask any more questions. She needed to stop Aria before she killed everyone on the island.

(Basically the only thing that happened was Mai led Alex to the cave with the crystal, Aria tried controlling Mai to get the crystal while Alex was getting samples, and now they know Aria is evil)

"I got the weaponry!" Alex returned with several things that would probably benefit in battle. "This is a Wingweight. you throw it at the target, and if it hits, it drills a hole and widens the end, making the target heavier, so it's harder to fly. If she can't fly, we have aereal advantage. Next, this is a wing blade. See the sharp stuff, that goes on your wing. If you hit her with it, it'll do exactly what you think it'll do. Lastly, this is a dart. Attach to the tail, and cut 'em deep. I only brought one of each, so choose wisely. I did bring an extra wingweight, but their heavy, so it'll be hard to fly with'm."
