This just happened a few seconds ago but as usually i got the !!!! and clicked pull rod button and it flicked between this one time and another (40 something to 38 ) and the timer went down by to (38 36 34 32 30) as i was pulling the rod until it said frillish caught! also the screen in the background kept saying It escaped... over and over again . so it seems harmless I probably did but i don't know if i got the frillish

Went back to normal after posting this and going back so maybe just a slight glitch but it still happened.

This happens when you click twice on the "pull rod" button. You do get the pkmn it says you caught, but you do lose energy for 1 fish + 1 escaped. I clicked 3 times so I lost for 1 fish + 2 escaped. If I remember correctly catching 1 fish takes 4-5 energy, and let one escape something like 2. I lost 10 energy for clicking 3 times, so my memory is bad but I am pretty sure 1 fish doesn't take 10 energy.
