Not sure if it could be some Bug but noticed that no Contest started this week as I wanted to claim the Mewtwo for this Week round.

I think the contest is only available at Mondays, no other day. It happened to me some times already.

It always says that he'll be back on Monday again so it seems right to me? Guess he only visits on Mondays, so only then the quest can be claimed.

Yeah, the contest starts on Monday, so if you don't get the pokémon on Monday, you'll have to wait a week.
As it's clearly written [return on Monday], this is not a bug and will be moved to 'solved'.
