i've had my meganium with it's mega stone from the event distribution in march for a while now and its well past level 50 (it's at lvl 133 right now) but isn't seeming to mega evolve? i've been looking all over to see i there's something about this on the wiki or if anyone else has the same problem but i can't seem to find anything. is there something i need to do to make it evolve? is it unable to evolve because the event is over?

Did you give the mega stone to carry or did you try to use it? Because it needs to hold the mega stone and then gain a level up while holding it.

i haven't given meganium anything since i got it. it's showing the little mega stone icon but it's not holding anything. looking through my item bag, i don't see a mega stone to give it either

Okay the mega stone icon on its page just means that it is possible to mega evolve. But to do that you need the Item Mega Stone and give it to the Meganium. On the next Level up it will mega-evolve permanently.
