The sunlight filtered through the window, the light making the pale albino resting there flinch and twitch her eyelids, pale lashes catching the light and making her equally pale form shuffle. Her nightclothes were wrinkled and warm from sleep. Her eyes opened slowly, staring up at the ceiling.

Next to her, a handsome, lean, ravenette stretched in his bed like a cat, sighing as he wore the last traces of sleep from his body. His violet eyes carried a sly, almost playful gleam as he looked at the window outside, then at the albino, "Morning Angora." He said to his wife affectionately.

Yesterday, had been pleasant by all standards. There was nothing to worry from the outside world, and they had had a marvelous time romping on the grounds of their mansion with their twins Naomi and Takeshi.

She turned to look at him, her gaze warm and a smile curling on her lips. “Good morning.” She purred, her white hair spread out under her head like a soft fan. She sat up, yawning and blinking sleepily.

He bent over to give her a quick kiss before getting dressed. "You reckon our kids are up? Little Takeshi's an early riser."

It had been a coincidence that the boy named Takeshi, whose name meant 'warrior' turned out to have Kuro's power. The boy was an early riser, which he inherited from his mother. He was the one who looked like his father. The female twin Naomi, the older of the two, was the albino.

“Mm...probably.” She smiled and her eyes softened. She got out of bed, her sweat pants and tank top was comfortable. Her dark eyes narrowed as she walked to the door, listening for her son.

He was sneaking about outside their door, having stuffed his face with food. He was a voraceous eater.

"There's always breakfast." Kuro said sternly. He went downstairs anyway, and observed the half-eaten scrambled egg, "At least you're a good cook." He thought to himself.

Saki struggled to contain her giggles, her raven hair falling over her face

He nodded toward their twins, "Breakfast first Takeshi, then meet me at oh-eight hundred hours for training."

“Yes sir.” Takeshi held his head down, big red eyes upset as he skunk back to his meal.

Angora sighed, leaning down to ruffle her daughter’s hair. “How do your eyes feel?” She asked quietly. “I know those in my family can get dizzy when developing their powers.”

"Fine...I guess." Naomi murmured with a small smile, "I still feel a little dizzy after scoping though."

"Give it time Saki." A sweet feminine voice said warmly behind them. A beautiful black kitsune, Cerridwen, walked through the doorway. Kuro's familier inclined her head in turn to the two kids, "Good morning Naomi and Takeshi."

Angora was a very gentle mother, but she loved showing off her skills with a rifle. For this reason, they lived in a cabin deep in the woods, where Angora often liked to hunt. She smiled at her daughter. “You’ll be a great shot.”

Takeshi finished off his meal, watching his father with a tired look. He yawned, rubbing his eyes.

Kuro went toward the door, "You've got until 8 o'clock Takeshi. When you get into the ring, I want you to start warming up. Kicks, lunges, stretches you know the drill. I'm going to check on Athena's pups." The ravenette departed to another cabin, which housed the white ferret. Cerridwen went with him, as usual

There was loud bangs, Angora was practically screeching. A large man had ripped her daughter from her side, having pushed his way into the home.


Takeshi was shaking, eyes wide with fear and shock.

Angora yelped as she was suddenly thrown down. “It’s them, Kuro!” She screeched. “They were the ones that hired me to kill Revel!” A female ran through the door, stabbing at Kuro as the man tried to escape Kuro.

Takeshi cried out and ran down into the basement, catching the woman’s eye.

Kuro grabbed the women by the throat throttling her. "Takeshi! Go into the boiler room! Lock yourself in!" A clarion order
He couldn't wait as his grip was already slipping. He punched her in the head before throwing her into the bathroom. And slamming the door on her dominant hand.

He had barely done that before the large man snatched Kuro by the throat, pinning him.
