I'm doing the Hoopa Quest, and I'm lost. I've searched as much as I could but can't find any more rings. Can someone help me please?

Not sure if it's a quest but I got a message from roan saying something about an earthquake and a pokemon with red and black strips. Anyone know what I'm meant to do
