Apparition
A few weeks ago, you had submitted your entry into a young writers competition. What usually would have been a short story, for example, this time they were asking for people to design their own ‘monster’. This included a name, description of appearance, it’s strengths, weaknesses, and a possible backstory. The winners would receive vouchers that could be used buy books at their local book store.
The night before the winners were to be drawn, you find your dream set in an eerie forest. Gloomy and silent. You glance around as something in the distance suddenly snaps, catching your attention. Eyes glued to the spot, you watch as a figure slowly makes its way towards you. You’re instantly able to recognize it as your own creation for that competition. But you’re unable to wake up.
Screams could be heard in the distance - you’re not alone.

* Character’s between the ages 13 - 16
* As many characters as you wish, I suppose, but be able to manage them
* 1 monster per character
* Try not to make monsters OP please
* You will get a single weapon, which correlates to your monster’s weakness, but you will not have it immediately
* Your monster may not attack other character’s without the other roleplayer’s permission
* If you need to/want to kill off a (your) character, have them wake up
*Injuries are allowed, don’t make them too gory
* Character’s between the ages 13 - 16

Appearance: Aria is a normal height for her age. She has long, warm brown hair. Her black glasses frame her round face and gray eyes rather nicely. Her fingernails are very long and shaped quite nicely, even though they’re covered with chipped holo polish. She has slender, shapely arms and legs that are covered with bug bite scars and scabs. Her skin could use some washing and if she didn’t always wear the same ratty gray quarter zip that doesn’t even fit her she’d look quite pretty.
Personality: Aria is a very introverted introvert. Normally she talks to people only if they’re her close friends, they express extreme interest in her activities, or if it’s absolutely nessisary. She’s obsessed with psychology and weaves her extensive knowledge of the subject into her stories. Her introverted-ness often leaves her craving human contact, which might lead to her saying something she thinks is stupid because she just wants attention but doesn’t know how to ask for it. She’s always had a morbid fascination with burns and but victims- what they look like, what it feels like, etc.

a powerful mini fan
Monster’s Appearance:
the monster appears as a black, burnt body of a humanoid figure with bright red blood leaking from its empty, hollow eyes and dripping from its mouth and past it’s sharp, deadly teeth. The creature’s arms and legs are extremely long and spindly, and when it moves bits of ash flake off and drift in its wake.
Monster’s Strength/Ability:
The monster can emerge from dead or dying fires to strangle people. it’s skinny limbs are actually pretty strong.
Monster’s Weakness:
if theres enough wind or moving air, it skin starts to flake away and reveals smoking bone-white insides that soon wither and flake away into ash, like an ember or small stick in a fire
Monster’s Backstory:
According to Aria, the monster is an ash demon from the depths of Hell, which is a region in her rather large fantasy world that most of her works are set in. This particular demon’s true name is Cienfuegos, which means One Hundred Fires. In her world, people who were wronged in their lives are made into demons that spend the rest of their relatively immortal existence chasing down those who wronged them and killing them. Cienfuegos was burnt alive by his brother, who then took his body and burned it 99 more times, just to spite him. Cienfuegos is planned to be a semi-minor antagonist in one of her favorite and already established characters, Zion’s character arc.

Appearance:
Long, brown hair tied in a light blue ribbon at the end, that match her sapphire blue eyes. She wears a quite long, pink top that frills out at the end with some light blue leggings.
Personality:
She's normally pretty calm and passive. She would do what other people will do, just because she doesn't feel safe on her own. When she's on her own, she normally starts to panic and run away to try find people. She's claustrophobic, meaning that she panics when being in small, cramped spaces. She is somewhat outgoing, meaning she likes to make new friends, but doesn't like talking much.
Weapon:
A powerful water gun (Like the one from mario sunshine xD) That has different settings to freeze the water or warm it up to create steam and squirt huge amounts of water.
Monster’s Appearance:
The monster appears as a dark blue, dragon-like figure with a purple colour shift in it's scales. it has four arms, the top row of arms can extend out to grab people. It produces venom, which flows through its body to reach it's tip of it's tail. It's mainly produced in it's mouth, with it's sharp teeth from his snake-like tongue. It has a huge wingspan, making it able to fly. It also has green eyes with no pupils or white parts that flow out like a fire.
Monster’s Strength/Ability:
The monster can fly, produces venom that reaches it's tip of it's tail through it's mouth. It's long tail is really strong and can use it to kill people, mainly making them weak first before poisoning them.
Monster’s Weakness:
The monster doesn't like water and any of it's other states. (this includes water, ice and steam.) When in contact with water, it would dissolve bit by bit until it disappears.

Monster’s Strength/Ability:Can climb trees, run fast, and excellent hearing
Monster’s Weakness:can't see, so you have to kill it by it's legs or shoulders by hitting all the muscle with gravel.
Monster’s Backstory:Just a hunting experienc, she couldn't forget.
