I don't have any idea how the fishing at Emera Beach works. I'll cast my line, wait until something strikes, and then I have no idea what to do from there.
Do I press and hold the "Pull" button? Do I drag it? Do I click it rapidly? All of my efforts usually end in the "Pull" text being highlighted by my browser and the button becoming unresponsive until I un-highlight the text. Is there a browser that works better? I'm using Chrome atm.

I have a feeling it works similar to Stardew Valley's fishing system, where the fish has to line up with the colored bar, but that's about it.

So first you cast in the rod.
Then you wait until you see !! above your head then you click the "Pull" button in the bottom middle of the screen.
Now you're going to draw your attention to the left side of the screen. A yellow box will be moving up and down, click the "Pull" button at the bottom of the bar whenever the yellow box is over the Magikarp (the Magikarp will also grow darker)
Make sure to watch the time, the different times reward you with different pokemon and items.
