Yoni heard a voice he didn't recognise
[Marissa] heading into the castle. Snuck up to them and tapped them
on the back, immediately sinking into a shadow to be out of
sight.
marissa frowned in confusion, her eyes narrowing, then turned back
again toward the castle, "I'm glad you're excited Liliana. Tell me,
did you make a lot of good associations with the royalty? I hear
the second-oldest brother is quite the charmer."
Feeling unsatisfied with the minuscule
reaction, he tapped her back again and skunk into the dark, except
this poke was rougher because he was angry a stranger was in the
castle. He felt Yurei become slightly more aggressive to the
stranger due to this.
Oh, you mean Yurei. He's nice, but...kinda creepy. Don't get me
wrong, he's a good guy, but.. I don't know. Also there's
Aureliance, I don't know if you know her, but she's cool. Also, she
saved me and brought me back to the palace. But, now I'm a maid...
Gaz stroked his chin thinking about those who were possible threats
to Hadrian's plan. Soros would be a challenge if in human form.
Yurie might also be a challenge. It was odd to him. When at dinner
he seemed quiet, pathetic even. Then when they fought everything
changed. A power maybe? Possession? A clever trick? Then there was
Fernado. He seemed to have got stronger every time he was hit. It
would be tricky in the long run unless he could beat him in one
move which was near impossible in human form.
Cheshire waved as Sonya walked from the stand. "Is that everything?
Also... Did the merchant say anything about the mess?" She was
speaking at a near whisper. It would probably be best if they
started leaving for the castle soon.
Camelot arrived into the town with a black, lightweight coat over
his attire. He heard several of the citizens talking among st each
other. Most were normal daily topics, "how have you been?", "what
do you plan to do?"... "Did you hear?" Now, that line specifically
caught his interest. The citizens were talking about something
related to the castle, but were abruptly interrupted by the sound
of crashing and a dog barking uncontrollably. The dog, some sort of
short-hair, ran off, startling a little kid. Camelot would remain
quiet and confused when the kid would sprint, tripping into a
shallow pool of mud on the ground.
The butler held his silence watching the chaos, "...Well, it
can't--" The dog would jump off the kid and run into a butcher's
shop. He would sigh aloud.
"...Okay, she must be nearby," Camelot continued heading further
towards the marketplace.
"Okay~" She would Sonya's lead, following her away from the stand.
As she followed the maid, Cheshire had thought she was being called
to from a distance. Cheshire stopped on occasion, confused,
Maybe someone cursed me out for being here? She shrugged off
the shouting as she maintained her walking speed with Sonya.
"Cheshire!? CHESHIRE!?" Camelot shouted, before noticing another
familiar person walking ahead of Cheshire. He could tell that they
were someone from the castle. Yet, Camelot wasn't close enough that
he could see their faces to confirm his beliefs. He continued
calling out Cheshire's name waving to get her, or the other
person's, attention.
Gaz quickly rushed down with a smile following after Hadrian, "We
have water, milk, and tea sir followed by sandwiches, lasagna, and
soup depending on which you prefer. Furthermore I made a list of
the three toughest people to deal with. I am certain though I can
beat all of them in a one on one fight."
"Once we make it to the alleys we can slow down a bit." Sonya
explained happily.
Cheshire nodded before second guessing Sonya's statement, "The
alleys? Wait, why there? ...A-also, aren't those places normally
dangerous? Or is that just something people say?"
Camelot stopped to catch his breath a little. He wasn't necessarily
use to chasing down anyone or anything. The butler would continue
trying to catch up with the others in a winded state, I'm not
paid enough for this.
As the our continued, Lilliana noticed a small boy. She didn't
recognize him, knowing that she didn't meet as much people in the
palace. She walked up to him carefully.
"Hello, what are you doing here? My name is Lilliana, what's
yours?"
