In Tokyo, Japan, that's when it all started. Two uniquely quirked girls were accepted into the best academy for training to become the best superheroes in the universe. Together, they decided they would become the best in the world and conquer anything in their path. When a trusty villain comes along and tries to destroy the city in all of its entirety, the two girls must learn to work together with their peers to defeat this evildoer for good. Chiharu 'Chi' Tanaka (Buchanan) and her best friend Erina 'Eri' Saito (Lemon) experience the wonders of making friends and using teamwork to take down any villain in their way. And they do it together.

Hero Profile
Hero Name: Shadow Mistress | Mistress of Shadows
Costume: A tight lavender spandex costume, with amethyst embellishments across the torso, with a long dark purple cloak always hovering above her. When she's in Shadow Mode, she's decked from head to toe in black. A tight fitting jet black spandex suit with embellishments of obsidian on her ankles up to her thighs, on each side of her legs, and around her waist, almost resembling a belt. She also wears a cloak that drapes below her ankles.
Quirk: Shadow manipulation, can manipulate villain's shadows and use that against them for her advantage.
Weapons: A dagger that was given to her by her idol, her father, who was also a shadow manipulator, until he was killed in an accident when she was young (after she accquired her quirk).
Gadgets/Tech: N/A

Extra
Likes: Aizawa Shota, Bakugou Katsuki, her best friend Erina Saito, Tsuyu Asui, sleeping, writing, drawing, and eating her favorite foods.
Dislikes: Waking up early, writer's and artist's block, and not being able to achieve successful shadow teleportation via the shadow realm.
Habits: Biting her nails when she gets anxious
Fears: Needles, abandonment, and failure.

Relationships
Family: Unknown at this time | All known is that mother is alive, and father died at a young age in Chi's life.
Romantic Interests: Bakugou Katsuki

Rivals: Ochako Uraraka
Enemies: Toga Himiko and Dabi
Physical Weaknesses: Being unable to use her shadow manipulation for long periods of time. Chiharu must take breaks in between, unless she'll faint.
Mental/Emotional Weaknesses: Her father's passing took a huge toll on Chiharu. She has a shrine back home that she prays to every morning and evening. Her mother thinks it's extremely unhealthy to mourn this much over her deceased father, however, Chiharu can't help it. She lost the only one she truly loved, her father.

Quirk
Name of your quirk: Shadow Manipulation
Description: She can manipulate shadows to her advantage. She typically pulls shadows from the villains and makes a shadow clone of them that obey her, and only her, which is what she uses to take down her enemies and evildoers. Sometimes she has to get physical, and use her dagger, but she tries to avoid this option as much as possible, since it was her father's weapon he passed on to her. She can also acquire teleportation through the shadow realm, but has yet to successfully accomplish this.
Strength: There are many strengths to shadow manipulation, one of them being able to teleport back and forth between reality and the shadow realm. Chiharu has been unable to achieve teleportation, so she just sticks with the basics of shadow manipulation. Another one of these strengths are creating shadow clones of villains or herself, to obey her every order. Sometimes when she's bored, she likes to clone herself and try to get extra shifts at work as her shadow clone, but fails.
Weaknesses: Chiharu is unable to manipulate the shadows and the shadows in the shadow realm for very long, so she has to take frequent breaks in between to make sure she doesn't fall unconscious.
What age did you obtain it: 4
How did you obtain it (what was happening at the time): Someone was bullying her frail but brave best friend, Erina, and she ended up standing up to the bullies. She got so infuriated she bashed the shadow clones of said bullies into their bodies repeatedly, until they fled the scene.

Chiharu was walking through the hallways of U.A Highschool, her best friend, Erina Saito beside her, a bounce in each step she took. Chi rolled her eyes, a giggle passing her pale lips, she decided not to wear any makeup today. She also decided to let her hair down, instead of wearing the typical ponytail. A slight glimpse of Bakugou passed Chiharu from the corner of her eyes, and she nearly choked as she swallowed anxiously. Her huge ego normally shattered into little shards whenever she saw her crush, Bakugou Katsuki, walk past her.

"D-Damn, is it hot in here, or is it just me...?" Chiharu stuttered softly to her frail friend, hoping Bakugou was at a far enough distance not to hear her say this. Once Bakugou had left her line of sight, her god complex returned instantaneously. She had transitioned from a timid demeanor to highly egotistical. She clutched her books tightly to her chest, chin up in the air as she sashayed down the hallway, her sidekick following shortly behind.

Eri, a small, shy girl, walked with her trusty friend, laughing at each other's jokes. Unlike Chi, she decided to wear makeup, but she didn't need a lot of it to look presentable enough for her own standards. Her heels made her taller, but she still had to look up a considerable amount to pay attention to her friend, or to even hear her speak clearly.

Eri huffed as she paced forward tirelessly, trying to keep up with her friend as she briskly walked down the hallway. She playfully snickered at the sudden change in Chi at the sight of her crush. "I'm pretty sure it's just you...or maybe your head is too close to the sun, again? Haven't you heard the story about the guy who flies too close to the sun and get's burned?" she joked, nudging Chi. Eri didn't understand the appeal of Bakugou, heck, she could barely pronounce his name, but she enjoyed seeing her friend enjoy his presence to such a degree.

(I have to head to bed!! I have a half day tomorrow, though, so i'll get back on as soon as possible. <3)

When the bell rang, announcing they had to be at their next class, Chiharu hurriedly sped-walk down the hallway, attempting to find her homeroom class, 1-A. One of her idols, Aizawa Shota taught that class. She was always happy to see him, considering the fact that she was a teacher's pet, and was close to becoming the class representative. She waved to her best friend as she walked into her classroom, 1-B.

"I'll see you at lunch Eri!" she chimed happily, as she rushed into the classroom, finding her desk and setting her belongings down on the desk, sitting next to her other friend, Tsuyu. She greeted her friend with a bright smile,

"Hiya Tsuyu! How'd you sleep last night?"

"I slept pretty well. What about you?" Tsuyu responded, beaming from ear to ear.

"I slept fine. My mother kinda kept me up all night." Chiharu sighed.

Eri smiled a warm smile as she walking into room 1-B, waving to Sekijiro Kan, her favorite teacher, as she walked to her seat. She sat down at her usual desk, already surrounded by other chatty kids. She casually conversed with other groups of kids, not really settling down to talk with one person, but rather, she enjoyed the company of the group, chiming into the wide conversation only when she had something to add.

When Bakugou had strolled into the classroom, whistling as if he was in a good mood, Chiharu nearly choked like she did earlier. She had to keep her ego above his, if she wanted to seem superior to him, that is. However, she was anything but his superior. The way she saw him bullying Deku the other day was a warning to her. But he only picked on Deku because he was originally quirkless, and pretty much a timid weakling. Chiharu begged to differ.

"Hey Bakugou~" Chi chimed, her lavender eyes locking onto his. Bakugou rolled his eyes, looking away from her gaze, trying to obscure the blush that dusted his cheeks.

"H-Hey." he grumbled, as he slid into his seat, which was halfway across the room from Chiharu. Tsuyu grinned from ear to ear, noticing that Bakugou had blushed,

"Did you see that?"

"Yeah. I did."

Sekiijiro grinned once his favorite student happily walked into the class, a wide smirk plastered on her face.

"Good morning, Ms. Saito. How did you sleep last night?" he inquired, awaiting patiently for her response. Once she took her seat, his eyes illuminated. She was always prepared and she was very observant. Not to mention, she was extremely intelligent. Even though she was frail and fragile.

"Oh my God, Eri. Did you hear what Class 1-A did?" one of the students leaned over to Erina, trying to gossip with her.

Eri perked up at the sound of a student talking directly to her. Intrigued, she swiveled around in her chair (which, oddly, wasn't even a swivel chair), and looked at the student talking to her. "No, I didn't. What in the world did they do this time?" Eri asked, only half joking.

Eri wasn't one for gossip, but she was one for information. Anything that can help her move forward (by knowing who to avoid, mostly) helps her justify the amount of gossip she listens into.
