Soraya can see Drago but stays quiet about him, “So tell me about this experiment, you need my blood but why?”

Ilyce smiles, “I’m testing out the different properties of various species blood. I’ve even used my own. Basically I’m trying to see what weapons I can make with what I have at hand. I’m not the only normal human here but there’s enough of us that we need weapons that can actually be useful against, well non-humans.” She shrugs, “It’s silly but I’d rather be useful and not a burden on everyone else during a fight.”

Soraya tries to not laugh but can't help it when she sees the confused look on Ilyce's face, "Drago, stop it. You're a dragon not a giant chameleon!" She stands up and walks over to him, "You're ridiculous, and I love it."

"Drago, you need to go rest. I can't recharge your mana, and I think I'll be safe enough here if you're not around." She pokes his nose, "I guess that's why you're being so nice, you're tired and out of mana."

Soraya smiles and kisses the top of his head, "Sleep well." She heads back to the chair and sits down, "So are you ready to start now or do you still need to set up equipment?"

Ilyce nods and picks up a syringe, "I'm just going to draw your blood so that you aren't left with a cut anywhere on your body. Assuming that a needle will be able to pierce your skin." She finds a soft spot on Soraya's arm and draws out a full syringe, "Even your blood has crystals in it? That's impressive on its own." She fills a few vials with the blood and throws away the needle, "Okay that's all I needed from you, thank you!"

Ilyce is still running experiments and doesn't look up when she hears Drago's voice, "She said something about flying home? I don't know where she was talking about, she said you would though."

Soraya is laying on top of her hoard in the ruins again, "Quiet time is so nice."
