I’m going to be a junior this year and I see a lot of negative things about junior year but no one ever elaborates why, can I get some study tips and advice? How was your first year in college?

Don't skip classes and plan your time. Keep a homework agenda/notebook where you record all your homework. Start with your hardest homework and work your way down. Cross things off your list as you go. Start as soon as you get home, not taking a break until you are done unless absolutely needed. If you have some problems with essay writings for instance don't be shy to ask for help specialists from an online service. They helped me to get good grades and save my time. Use your time wisely.

I'm currently in my freshman year of college ^^

I think the thing I've found most useful is simply knowing students from higher years. There's only so much help uni resources can give you since they're 'censored' in a way. Knowing which professors are more helpful, which classes are more interesting etc. definitely made my life here a bit easier!

I'm a freshman in college also! I have serious procrastination problems, so I find it useful to have a website blocker and to turn it on while studying. Moreover, I try to remove any distracting bookmarks from view(such as to here, unfortunately).

Does anybody have any more tips for being productive?

And how would I meet upperclassmen? I don't want to be annoying.

In classes would be the easier way I guess? ^^ Bond over your major or ask for help with homework etc. I mean, universities are large enough so that if that specific upperclassman gets annoyed, you can just move on to another person. I haven't really found anyone to be rude at my uni though racism would be another thing though

I'm not sure what your college is like compared to a Finnish university but I suppose it's close enough that I can word-vomit here.

Besides the good advice given so far, what I'd suggest is not aiming for a good grade in every class. I know, sounds weird. But you have a limited amount of energy and just setting yourself the goal of honorably passing for some courses you don't care for as much lets you focus more on the ones you do find interesting and want to succeed in. It also takes away some stress and possible disappointment if you run out of time to do the greatest in some courses if you don't set the bar too high for everything to start with.

Though if you have some scholarship or something that requires some kind of grades or whatever to keep it (I really dunno how things work around places), then that'd make that trickier.

Also, besides getting to know the older students, you should try to make friends with your fellow juniors and start getting involved in things. It might be harder to jump into the social mess of it all later so it might be beneficial to invest some of your time to getting to know people sooner rather than later.

If that sounds crazy, feel free to disregard the mad ravings of this very responsible student. Good luck with your college journey.

So where I live we don't have the same educational system so there isn't anything called college.
However, I have only just finished the equivalent to college and I would recommend being constant with your work. I have found that studying for an hour a week before the exam equals to studying for two hours the night before an exam. Furthermore, if you are always on top of your work and are constant with your studying, understanding things and learning to enjoy them is way easier

Just be confident and that is the main advice for you! If you have some problems with study you should find out where you can get help to avoid futher college problems. For example I have been using Paidpaper.net as one of the top cv writing services when I was a college student and it helped me a lot

A lot of people say that college is the best four years of your life. When you first walk through those gates on your very first day, it's easy to believe them. You're finally free from all of the restrictions and rules imposed by parents and teachers alike. But as time goes on, you start to realize that "free" isn't really what buy essay online college is about at all- there are still a ton of responsibilities that come with being an adult in this setting, many more than when you were younger.

Stay focused on your work. It gets hard at this point so if you have morning classes you might want to reconsider it. Get a planner. color code and organize your life and classes. For instance, block off study time with black. Color code lets say math with red. Take breaks and stop and smell the roses. Ask the professor for help. Do not let yourself struggle in silence.Start study groups. There is no harm in getting an online tutor.

I've only recently completed the equivalent of college and would advise you to be consistent with your efforts. I've discovered that studying for an hour a week before a test is equivalent to studying for two hours the night before. Furthermore, if you stay on top of your work and study consistently, comprehending and learning to love things becomes much easier. cookie clicker

Put your phone on silent and screen side down. Take breaks - 25 mins work/5 min break. Drink water and eat healthy food - stick to a sleep schedule
