Voila entered the ring flexing a bit while using a simple spell to make his cape fly behind him triumphantly.

Stephanie grinned and her wings flared out wide. Black scales covered her body like armor before she snapped her fingers. The entire arena fell into darkness. Like thick opaque darkness you couldn't see through unless you had night vision.

She then proceeded to take flight switching her own night vision on

"Voila activates physical world!" The stage turned back to normal and the scales vanished. He cracked his knuckles before walking forward.

Maxwell took this time to begin teaching, "Voila, attacking quickly is great but playing defense is also great. Try to play a defensive spell first next time. Stephanie, you rushed in without being cautious and his spell card worked. Find a counter. Both of you take five minutes to prepare for the next round. Think over what I said carefully."

Voila let out a bit of a smile at this as he proudly explained, "Voila played the physical world spell card. Hand made by yours truly. It gets rid of all magic until the battle is over meaning only those with weapons or those who are strong have a huge advantage. Well all but the effects of magic items."

With that he negated the card returning magic into the room before stepping out of the ring to look over his supplies. Did he have anything to play defensively?

Taunt....carefully played, would disable Voila's ability to use his cards.
