He slammed his fists together activating his super magic. He grew taller doubling in height. His clothes strained and clung tightly as his muscles swelled in size with his largest being the size of Maxwell's head. He reached into the fire place nearby ignoring the fire as he crushed the coal making it become a diamond. His voice was much deeper as he let out a bit of a smile, "This is only a fraction of the power known as Countdown."

Maxwell nodded before smiling at Stephanie. "Right now he is far stronger than me. He places number three though cause he can't be like this forever."

Lunara turned into her demon form. Black scales covered her body, her eyes turned red. Razor sharp 2 foot talons crowned her fingers. Muscles, previously unseen, bulged over her arms, the size of watermelons. Her elbows sharpened into blades, and horns topped her head. Darkness personified. and with a harsh punch she split the table open. She flushed, "Oops. Anyway in this form, I place at Number 4."

He simply nodded a bit, "Weak but showing potential. Could become something really strong at some point. Not bad, not bad."

Lunara looked at him sympathetically, "Well, I'm going to help Ruby with flight. See you." And she walked outside to where the red-haired girl was waiting for her.

He leapt into the air with enough that Max's robes flew about in a frenzy before he sighed and continued onwards to the other students to Emmy reading.

There was a cry of pain, followed by a soft curse from Lunara, "F***. You okay Ruby?"

"Are you sure that tree was there?" Ruby asked, brushing splinters from her legs and jacket. Lunara chuckled, "Maybe, maybe not."

"Careful ladies." Maxwell mused before looking at Emmy who barely even gave notice to the outcry that happened a moment ago, "What are you reading Miss Smith?"

She let out a squeal before composing herself again, "Ah...I am...busy rea-reading abo...about prot-protecting my....mind...from...you know...those with...mind...magic."

"We're going to the pool!" Lunara calls before she and Ruby leave. "Why the pool? I thought they were flying?" Lucifer asks "Because water is better to fall into than hard rock or trees." Lunara answers wryly, "Especially if you haven't flown much." She adds to Ruby, who blushes as red as her hair.


After half an hour, they return, with Ruby grinning. Lunara allows her to have a break, saying, "I tried. You can put on the salve if you're sore. Meet me back in 25 minutes."

"And now you are able to resist most of Lunara's attacks. I'd advise you practice repeatedly. Since you know the basics you can start learning to attack. Now I must get going." Maxwell explained causing Emmy to nod and finish taking notes before reading things over.

Stephanie retreated to her old room, and sighed as she picked up her violin. She winced as she heard how out-of-tune it was, and spent 15 minutes tuning. Finally, she picked up her bow and went outside to play. Plus, music was relaxing. Fresh air was good for her anyway. Kelly looked over and relaxed as she heard Stephanie's beautiful violin sound.

Mischievously, she speared a mental talon toward Emmy's mind. Her mental walls were up of course, but there were small holes. She tapped her mind, and said in mind to mind communication, "You have holes in your mental wall. What happened?"
