Max looked at Deirdre in partial shock at what she said at first.
He then smiled faintly and gently, but somewhat sheepishly, grabbed
her hand. "Yeah it won't ruin today. Come on, let's get your
forehead looked at, and then we'll get dinner." He said softly.
Max chuckled softly and smiled at Deirdre. He lead her to a
doctor's office and frowned. "So how'll you explain the scar to
your parents?" He asked in concern.
“I fell out of a tree because I climbed up it when so heard a
Pokémon and then the branch snapped.@ Deirdre replied quickly
before she was taken back into the office.
Max nodded a thanks and walked outside. He reached into the pocket
of his destroyed jacket and gently handed Deirdre a necklace with a
Bagon on the charm. "Um...I was going to give this to you the last
day we were in Kalos, but I forgot." He said quietly.
Dierdre tilted her head to the side as she examined it. “Wha...?”
She mumbled in confusion before relaxing what it was. “W-wow. Max,
this is so amazing.” She gushed.
Max blinked in surprise and blushed, he touched his cheek and
smiled before looking at Deirdre. "You're welcome." He whispered
softly and went for a small cafe so they could eat.
