Max smiled back and gently grabbed Deirdre's hand. "I love you." He said a bit more confidently.

Max growled and balled his fists up in anger. "Oh yeah, she's not my girlfriend. I hate Deirdre so much that every time I see her I wonder how I even became friends with her." He said in a dry, and sarcastic tone.

"Max...that shouldn't have been said even in sarcasm. Your sarcasm is awful." Suko said quietly and cautiously lit his back flames as he knew the bully might fight.

Scar nodded and looked thoughtful. "We could go to the lighthouse café. My mom and dad love that place." She suggested thoughtfully.

[are Theo and Scar still going to get lost?]

Deirdre opened her mouth to say something before shouting as a giant horde of Fearows shot out from the bush.

"Max! What do you mean?!" Deirdre hissed and stood as she bully walkedn away, laughing.

Max blinked in shock and instantly called out Suko. "Flamethrower!" He called to his Quilava quickly and grunted when a Fearow hit him in the face.

Max blinked and looked at Deirdre in a guilty manner. "W-wait Deirdre I didn't mean it!" He squeaked in shock.

"It's amazing! The view of Lillycove from the top of the lighthouse is beautiful." Scar whispered softly.

Deirdre shouts as she called out Ika who swept away multiple Pokémon.

[true. I'm gonna keep Suko as a Quilava, but raise his level a bit. Max'll have a few more Pokemon so will Scar, just gotta think of a team.]

Max growled and shoved a Fearow off of him. He tossed Ryoto's pokeball letting his Dragonair out, Suko ran over to help Isa fight.

"Wait no. I-" Max cut himself off and frowned. "Deirdre I didn't mean it!"

"Watch out!" Deirdre pushes Max out of the way before taking the hit from the Fearow about to hit him.

"DEIRDRE!" Max yelped in shock and struggled to his feet. He ran over to Deirdre and wrapped his arms around her as more and more Fearow flew towards them. Ryoto blinked in shock as Max was hit by a few attacks. He slithered over to the two and began to glow as if he were evolving.

"N-no I didn't." Max said sheepishly and cautiously took a step towards her. "Deirdre. D-don't you trust me? I would never." He trailed off sadly.

Scar smiled at Theo, she walked towards the cafe when a group of trainers knocked her away from Theo.

"Move! You'll just get both of us hurt!" Deirdre shouted and moved away from him as she sent out her Sliggoo.

"Not anymore." Deirdre hissed and turned on her heel, wlaking off.

Max grunted and jumped back as Ryoto managed to knock a few Fearow back. He was covered in cuts from shielding her from the moves. "Sorry." He grunted quietly and looked at Ryoto who was now a Dragonite.

Max blinked and frowned as tears began to fill his eyes. He growled and looked at the ground. "Fine! I never wanted to be your friend anyway!" He snapped angrily and stormed off.

Scar blinked and went to grab Nami's pokeball which had fallen to the ground. She frowned as it wasn't the Lure ball that her father had given her when she caught her Squirtle all those years ago, instead it was a net ball, often found in the nearby shops. "Hey give me back my Pokémon!" She snapped at the trainers who looked over their shoulders and ran off.
