Tiger nodded and chuckled softly. He looked up to Mira. "Yeah, times have definitely changed." He said gently and took another sip of the milkshake.

"No I understand I mean, I technically grew up in Viridian Forest, but I count New Bark as my home." Cyndaquil said kindly.

Kibo looked thoughtful. "He told me one day that he had just guessed it, and was lucky. Considering it was our first pokepuffs, he was hoping that we'd like them." He laughed. "So dumb luck i guess."

Mira did the same. "This is good," She hummed. "...I'm sorry, by the way, for making you hide everything for so long."

Aite nodded. "Viridian is nice. But I couldn't imagine growing up there."

Toka laughed. "He seems to have a lot of moments of dumb luck, doesn't he? Or... Luck in general, I suppose?"

Tiger looked at Mira and smiled. He gently placed his hand on hers, "it's fine Mir. Honestly I would've been willing to hide everything for a long time if it meant I continued to just be your friend." He said gently. "After all, I don't really see myself not being your friend or not having you with the group of others."

"Wasn't exactly the best. The Typhlosion colony there was corrupt when i lived there, but Ruby, my sister, is the leader now." Cyndaquil said kindly and yawned. "She's by far the strongest Typhlosion I've seen."

Kibo laughed and nodded in agreement. "He definitely has moments of both dumb luck and regular luck in general." He said in agreement.

Mira shook her head. "Me neither, really. This whole group is sort of the first friend group I've ever had. ...Well, a real one anyway. It felt good. I always liked being your friend."

"Heh, sounds like a case of sibling rivalry to me," Aite grinned. "Think you could beat her in a fight?"

"And bad luck. Oodles of bad luck. Self-inflicted bad luck, mostly, but bad luck nonetheless," Toka shrugged, taking another bite of ice cream.

Tiger smiled at Mira and nodded. "I've always loved being your friend too." He said gently. "I mean, this whole group was my first group of real friends too. Honestly, before Alola I didn't trust anyone, heck I barely trusted Lion, but you and Mel were the first people I did start trusting." He said gently.

Cyndaquil shrugged, "not sure. I'm sure with Tiger's help I could." He said thoughtfully. "Ruby is a pretty strong Pokémon through."

Kibo nodded and finished his share of the ice cream. "He's gotten better at the bad luck things though. He's a bit more cautious now." He said kindly.

Mira nodded. "I could see that. My trust issues didn't really become a problem until around... Between Alola and Kalos, when the group wasn't together. That's the four years where my life just sort of slipped into chaos," She joked lightly. "But I definitely think that you two were the first two people I truly trusted after the whole incident with Liam."

Aite nodded. "When was the last time you saw her?"

"Thanks to the group," Toka pointed out gingerly. "But I'm proud of him for doing so."

Tiger nodded in understanding to what Mira said. He sighed and shook his head. "I swear, if I ever met Liam. I'd most likey have said something." He said quietly and shook his head clear. "You know, you could've come to New Bark and talked to me if you were in trouble. I mean, back when it was between Alola and Kalos I might've been crushing on Mel, but I still would've been there to help you in a heartbeat." He said partially in an embarrassed tone when he mentioned the old and long gone crush on Mel. He shook his head clear and smiled. "After all. You don't live too far from me."

Cyndaquil looked thoughtful. "Last time I saw her she was protecting me and Tiger when we passed through Viridian Forest about a year ago before Tiger went to Hoenn. Tiger fell over a rock and broke his leg when a Rhydon from ripple wa chasing us. I was low on health and she helped us." He recalled.

"You and I both." Kibo whispered softly.

"I wonder how he's doing now..." Mira mumbled partly to herself and shook her head clear. "I know, I know, but I can only recall one instance I was in danger, and that would have been during the whole episode with the legendary birds. That was very much unexpected. But it was mostly... Stress, I think."

"Ooh," Aite's gaze lit up with interest. "Sounds terrifying. But... Cool that she found you, right? I always kind of wish I came from a colony. Gives you some place to return to and go 'wow, I grew up here'."

Toka smiled and finished her share of the ice cream as well. "...And not to sound narcissistic or anything, but I'm just going to go ahead and take some of the credit for Mira being more careful now, too."

Tiger nodded in response to Mira and frowned slightly. He shrugged and shook his head clear before taking a sip of the milkshake. "Good point, Ho-Oh told me about that, he didn't mention who the new guardian was. I asked why he didn't get me to help, but he said it wasn't my job so I didn't question it." He said quietly.

Cyndaquil shrugged and finished his ice cream. "Eh, it was fine to be in a colony, but I'd rather not return. Hinoarashi is still alive, and I don't want to risk getting into another fight.* He said kindly.

Kibo chuckled softly and nudged Toka. "I'm sure that's why she's a bit more cautious too." He said gently.

"Because it wasn't your job. It technically wasn't mine, either, but Oak told me to do it so I did," Mira chuckled. "But everything seemed to work out in the end."

"I get it. That makes sense," Aite nodded. "Hakuna matata or whatever."

Toka smiled and nudged him back. "You were a help in getting Tiger more cautious too, I'm sure."

Tiger nodded in response to Mira and smiled at her. "Yeah it did work out in the end. He replied in gentle agreement. "And Mewtwo and Kantos legends chose the best trainer for the job of guardian."

Cyndaquil nodded in agreement and threw out his trash. "Yeah." He said softly.

"Yeah." Kibo said softlt and kissed Toka's cheek.

Mira blushed. "...I still think that Red would have been better, but that's just me."

"It means no worriesss, for the rest of your daaays," Aite hummed softly, shoving his last bite of ice cream into his mouth to shut himself up.

Toka smiled and kissed him back quickly. "Man. We are so much better at that than them," She chuckled quietly, casting a glance at Tiger and Mira.

Tiger shrugged and smiled at Mira. "You would've been better than Red. After all, that guy practically lives on mount silver right now." He said softly and blinked. "Honestly Silver, Gold, or Crystal would've been better than me as a guardian." He said with a shrug.

Cyndaquil laughed in amusement and smiled. "Hakuna matata indeed my friend." He chuckled and looked over to Tiger and Mira. "Think they're going to kiss?" He asked partially joking.

Kibo nodded in agreement and laughed. "We are." He said softly.

"Well they've got enough on their hands without worrying about Johto 24/7. You live a relatively lax life when a region isn't burning," Mira smiled slightly.

"Don't know, but if they do, it'll make my night," Aite snickered quietly, smiling.

"They're definitely not hopeless, though. They've proved themselves on that front," Toka pointed out.

Tiger nodded and smiled in agreement. "Good point. I think the worst I deal with when I don't have a region burning is getting some robber in the lab fields, but Setchi and Cotton manage to scare them off." He said gently and smiled at Mira he finished his share of the milkshake and blinked. "Um, thanks for sharing the milkshake with me." He said gently.

Aite nodded and tapped his claws on the table impatiently. "...Oh you have no idea how much I want to whistle right now."

Tiger nodded in agreement and smiled at Mira. He got up to clean up and throw away the trash before looking back over to Mira. "Yeah, it was nice." He said softly and walked back over to the table. "Um...do you want to stay here and talk more, or we could head back to the pokemon center and call it a night?" He asked softly.

"No I think I know what you mean." Cyndaquil said with a shake of his head.

Kibo nodded and smiled. "Yeah, exactly." He said kindly.

"Um," Mira blinked. "Either way is fine with me. I'm tired, but... I do like talking to you."

Aite groaned slightly and got up to throw his trash away. "I might have to. This is too awkward. They need to do SOMETHING," He murmured when he got back to the table.

Toka smiled and held Kibo's paw.

Tiger nodded and sighed. "We can head back then." He whispered softly and held his hand out to help Mira up. "After all it's getting late. We can talk at the pokemon center if you want."

"Agreed..." Cyndaquil said with a sigh, but noticed Tiger was waiting for something, as he was still blushing. "Maybe Tiger's waiting for the right time to kiss Mira?" He whispered to Aite thoughtfully.

Kibo smiled back and gently kissed Toka's cheek before getting up and cleaning up their table. "Wanna head back, or should we wait for these four?"
