Chansey smiled and nodded. "I heard Hoenn was nice. Tiger told me all about his journey in Hoenn." She said kindly.

Tiger frowned and pulled Mira into a hug in an attempt to try and calm her down. "You're safe now." He whispered gently and let go of her before looking at the sky. "I think the only good thing that came from that was that Frost died." He sighed and shook his head before sitting down on the branch for a moment. "Err sorry about the whole thing after we rescued you though." He whispered in embarassment referring to how he had admitted his feelings for Mira when they were escaping the base. Lion had made him tell Mira when they managed to flee the area.

Mira sat down as well and returned the hug gratefully, closing her eyes for a moment. She put her palms on the branch. "It's fine, Tiger," She murmured. "I... I was just surprised. After everything that happened in Hoenn, I thought you'd never trust anyone the same way." She admitted awkwardly, keeping her eyes fixated on the tree.

"Only because Tiger's my trainer. I mean haven't you seen anyone that's more of a danger magnet than him?" Cyndaquil asked with a laugh.

Tiger sighed, and glanced at Mira for a moment before looking at the ground from where he sat. "Well." He began nervously, and managed to catch himself speaking pokemon. He had gotten better at that, "Well to be completely honest, you were the one who was always there for me in Hoenn. Yeah I had Jamie, Lion, Robert, and the others helping me out if I needed it, but I seemed to be closest to you." He admitted quietly and rubbed the back of his neck. "Guess if I was willing to trust anyone the same way it would've been you, but again. Like I said when I told you about this originally, if you don't feel the same way, then I can live with it. After all." He trailed off and sighed. "I wouldn't want to lose such an amazing best friend, just because of a bunch of emotions." He sighed.

Mira looked over at him and sighed. "You won't lose me. No matter what happens," She promised. "I just need time. So much happened in Kanto, and... I just need time," She repeated with a sigh. "You're the best friend I've ever had and I want what we have to last awhile."

Tiger nodded and glanced at Mira for a moment before offering her a small smile. "Yeah I understand. You're the best friend I've ever had as well, and that's way better than Lion. Considering that if I ever got into an argument with you, you wouldn't hold a grudge for six years." He said joking at the last part about the grudge thing. He then got back to his feet. "Anyway, um. I understand that you need time, and no matter what I'll still be here for you as a friend."

Mira nodded. "Thank you, Tiger," She smiled, getting up as well. She giggled at the comment about Lion. "Six years is too long. ...I'd say around three months is enough time for me to hold a grudge."

Tiger nodded and smiled at Mira kindly. "You're welcome." He said gently, and jumped onto a higher branch. "Man you hold grudges for such a short time. I swear Lion scared me when he was ticked at me for those six years." He said with a shake of his head, and balanced on one of the highest branches.

Mira chuckled. "Well it really depends on what the grudge is about for me. I can't imagine being mad at you for more than two days, actually. But someone like... Liam. I still have a grudge with him, and it's been eight years."

Cyndaquil shifted uncomfortably and shook his head clear. "Alright do you want to get some food until we wait for them to return?"

Tiger blinked and glanced at Mira. "Uh sorry if this seems like me being too curious, but what did Liam do? I mean you mentioned him a lot, and I never ask because I don't want to seem too nosy." He asked cautiously. "You don't have to tell me if you don't want to."

"I might as well say. Liam was essentially the reason Giovanni considers me such a rival," Mira sighed. "On my first journey, he traveled with me as far as Celadon. When we got to the city, he insisted we take a trip to the game center. Keep in mind that the only pokemon on my team at that point was Toka. She was still a Dratini then. But I didn't know that the game center was Rocket's base at the time, and he led me straight into an ambush. He was working for Rocket the entire time. His whole job was to lead me there and steal Toka so that my dad would come back to Kanto, since Gio always had a larger interest in him.
"Well I surprised them by winning the fight with some help from the Dratinis in captivity. Toka managed to break the lock on their little enclosure and suddenly Rocket was fighting me and about twenty Dratinis. We won by a hair. The only thing to come out of it was Giovanni's hatred of me for foiling his entire plan."

Tiger frowned and nodded as he listened to the story. "I'm sorry to hear about that." He said gently. "Being betrayed by someone you thought you could trust is always the worst." He said with a sigh, knowing all too well the feelings of being betrayed by people he counted as his friends. He shook his head clear and smiled at Mira slightly. "Don't worry, if you run into him again. I'm sure you and Toka could totally take care of him." He said gently.

Mira smiled. "Yeah, definitely. He'll regret it if he ever runs into me again. ...I'm not letting that grudge go anytime soon. Having Gio know of my existence has put me through hell the past couple of years."

Tiger nodded and offered Mira a small smile. "On the bright side, Gio is back in jail. He's not going to hurt you anymore." He said gently. "And Frost managed to die before we rescued you, so there's no way he's coming back." He added with a relieved sigh.
[any way I say Frost dies in this rp might be changed in Kanto since I'm still playing around with the idea on how I will kill him off. Right now I'm hovering on Frost tries to kill Lion, Tiger saves Lion, and Snow kills Frost. Though I'm not 100% sure how I'm going to execute this yet.

Tiger blinked and looked thoughtful. "She's a trainer from Sunnyshore city. No one too special, her name is Isabel, and apparently Snow's real name is Derrick." He explained kindly, he had completely forgotten to tell Mira about this in Kanto. "She was forced to leave Snow behind when she snapped out of her brainwashing. Apparently she knew Frost before he began to go by Frost."

"I think it really depends on his mood. I think he's still calling himself Snow, or well that's what Kimberly is calling him." Tiger said thoughtfully. "Though he did legally change his name back from Snow to Derrick that way he has a name that isn't an object."
