"Goldenrod City will be worse than Ecruteak, but I do get it. Ecruteak is a tourist attraction since it has the burnt and tin towers." Tiger said gently and offered her a smile. "After all we might be wary of big cities but if we're together we'll be fine."

Cyndaquil sighed and jumped off Tiger's shoulder as he headed into the gym.

Tiger smiled and nodded in response to Mira, he walked into the gym and headed for Bugsy. "Yeah for now? Let's worry about the battle would Bugsy." He said cheerfully.

Tiger nodded in agreement and smiled. He jumped into a tree and walked along the branches. "Tiger! That's cheating!" A voice came from the end of the maze and laughed.

"Oh hey Bugsy!" Tiger grinned and continued along the branches.

"That is so cheating," Mira shook her head fondly and followed him carefully up the tree.

"...I'm just going to go through the maze," Tira decided, putting her nose to the ground.

"Did they ditch us? I'm pretty sure they ditched us," Tira glanced back at Cyndaquil.

Bugsy smiled at Mira. "Thanks it's nice to meet you too." He said kindly. "Also it defeats the purpose of a maze to be jumping along the sides." He laughed.

Cyndaquil blinked and nodded before snickering. "They ditched us." He said in amusement.

"Why do you think people try to jump whenever they go through corn mazes to get to the end? Mazes are impossible," Mira pointed out cheerfully. "But we'll go through it on the way back if that's any consolation."

Tira chuckled and found the center. "I should have gone up that tree, too. Just to show them."

"I'll go through properly too." Tiger said with a chuckle. "Mira's here to challenge your gym, and I'm here for my rematch." He said kindly.

Cyndaquil laughed and nodded, "same here." He grinned.

"I prefer 'hound,' but that's fine."

Mira rolled her eyes and scratched behind Tira's ear. "Yeah. I'm sure this will be a great fight, Bugsy."
