Cyndaquil was laughing in amusement as he had caught Hori and Watt. Tiger sighed and rolled his eyes as he guessed what happened. He tucked his hands into his pockets and rocked on his heels before looking away. "Uh yeah I'd be more than happy to help you with it. We could make them later tonight when we get to Violet." He said kindly.

Mira blushed, putting two and two together as well, and nodded. "Yeah. We'll just get a room with a kitchen or something like that." She suggested.

Tiger rubbed the back of his neck and bodded. "Yeah, soundd like a smart idea, Mir." He said kindly and offered her a small smile, not noticing that Watt and Hori had made him blush as well.

Mira chuckled quietly and started off down the route again with Hori on her shoulder. "Could we stop at a pokemon center first? I think I should drop Hori off."

Tiger nodded to Mira. "Sounds like a good idea." He said kindly and pointed to a red roof sticking out of the trees. "Cherrygrove isn't too far away anyway."

Mira nodded and looked at the roof. "I guess not," She sounded surprised. "That route isn't nearly as long as I remember," She chuckled, smiling bitterly at the memory of the group's trip to Johto.

Tiger nodded in agreement and noticed that bitter smile. He guessed what it was about. "The routes seem smaller when you travel through them a few times." He said kindly and blinked. He frowned as he tried to think of a way to help Mira forget about the group's journey in Johto. He got an idea. "Hey why don't you let Cyndaquil take Hori to the center. The nurses around here know me well enough to recognize my Cyndaquil so we can meet up with them later. There's something I'd like to show you, that I didn't show the group." He said gently.

Mira looked over. "R-Really? Um. Sure. ...Sorry, I just thought that you showed us everything," She admitted sheepishly. "That'd actually be pretty nice."

"Uh. W-We're going through a route alone?" Hori whimpered.

"Cyndaquil will keep you safe. Don't worry, Hori. He's been this way hundreds of times, I bet." Watt pointed out cheerfully. Hori relaxed slightly.

Cyndaquil looked at Hori and smiled reassuringly. "Yeah, I've been this way alone before. I mean it'll be fine." He said kindly, and nudged Hori in the direction of Cherrygrove. Taji ran after Cyndaquil, and Hori. Cyndaquil looked at Tiger. "We'll see you at the pokemon center in a few right?" He asked kindly.

Tiger nodded in response to Cyndaquil and glanced at Mira. "Yeah, I didn't really show you guys everything. Honestly, I kept this to myself because I didn't want to take a huge group this way." He explained to Mira gently, and nodded to a small path just off the main one.

Hori blinked and slowly nodded, following Cyndaquil cautiously. Mira smiled at them and looked down to Watt. The Raichu smiled and nudged her quickly before returning himself.

"...I see why," Mira replied with a small chuckle. She started down the path. "So where exactly are we going?"

Cyndaquil smiled reassuringly to Hori, and nodded to Taji, who used a flamethrower and knocked a couple apples off a nearby tree. The Marowak handed one to Hori politely and followed Cyndaquil.

Tiger glanced at Mira, "you see that oak tree over there?" Tiger asked kindly and pointed to an oak tree that was growing just above the tree line. "There's a clearing that's beautiful to look at. I used to sneak off and go there all the time when I was ten."

Hori blinked and smiled, taking a hasty bite. "Thanks, Taji," He squeaked. "...So are there any big pokemon on this route?"

Cyndaquil shook his head. "No, the biggest pokemon in this route is Sentret, and they only look big due to the tails they stand on." Cyndaquil said kindly and smiled at Hori.

"Which route has the biggest pokemon in Johto?" Taji asked in an interested tone and smiled cheerfully.

Cyndaquil looked thoughtful. "Not counting Mount Silver, where we found Setchi. Route 45 would have the strongest and biggest pokemon in all of Johto. That route is where Tiger and I used to do a lot of training, it's also where Tiger gets his skarmory feathers for fake Silver Wing items."

Tiger nodded and continued down the path. "Pretty much. I still go there at times to relax after working in the lab, and before you protest. I do relax, just not often." He said with a smile and glanced at Mira. "Anyway, it's sort of a hidden grotto, heck I've even climbed all the way to the top of the oak tree before."

Cyndaquil shook his head, "no, Johto and Kanto share the same Victory road. Route 45 is just outside Blackthorn City. Lion has a house up there, but it's more of a vacation home.

Tiger rolled his eyes and smiled at Mira before playfully nudging her. "Hey it might be a foreign concept to me, but I do relax." He chuckled and blinked. "Yeah it's an amazing view. Like you're flying. I could take you up there if you'd like"

Cyndaquil nodded, "Lion grew up in New Bark Town with Tiger. He still has a soft spot for Johto." He said kindly.
