Tiger nodded in response to Mira and smiled. "Well Cyndaquil and my team won't mind training with you. There's also a few Pokémon in route 29. Though they aren't really high of level." He said kindly and looked thoughtful.

"I want to watch a gym battle!" Taji said cheerfully in response to Hori and looked around New Bark Town. Tiger walked outside and looked around with a smile.

"No, that's perfect. Hori needs some weaker pokemon, anyway," Mira shrugged, looking at the Ralts. "Right?"

"Yeah. Bigger pokemon are kind of scary..." He sighed. "But maybe they'll be less scary when I'm that big."

Tiger nodded and smiled at Hori. "Alright, well their are Sentret, Pidgey, Rattata, and Hoothoot in route 29." He told Mira and Hori kindly. "The Sentret that I scared evolved and is with a trainer named Silver now." He said with a shrug and headed for route 29.

"Once." Tiger replied kindly and looked at Cyndaquil. "I met him while infiltrating Rocket once. He tried to accuse Cyndaquil of being weak considering his condition, but Cyndaquil sort of proved him wrong when Frost's Blastoise attacked us."

Mira snorted. "You and Cyndaquil tend to do that."

"I can't believe the entire region doesn't know about you two yet." Watt glanced back to look at Cyndaquil and Tiger.

Tiger smiled at Mira and nodded in response. "We definitely tend to do that." He said in agreement and snickered.

"The region knows about us now. We met Silver when Tiger was twelve. Though, Tiger and I do lay low at times, since Tiger doesn't really like a ton of attention." Cyndaquil said to Watt kindly.

Tiger rolled his eyes. "Hey being Claustrophobic isn't fun alright? That's also a main reason I stepped down from being Johto's champion. I'd rather not be crowded by trainers I didn't know." He said with a shrug.

Mira smiled sympathetically. "Why do you think I never moved away from Three Island? Agoraphobia is fun."

"I don't mind that we aren't in the limelight, actually! We meet new people when we can and the rest is all laying low. It's nice!" Watt grinned.

Tiger nodded and walked through a patch of tall grass once he got into Route 29. "I can see why you stayed on Three Island." He said in understanding. "I mean, that's the main reason I stay in New Bark. Even if it's a tiny bit bigger than Three Island and closer to other towns, Elm and the lab assistants really help keep trainers from finding out where I live." He said kindly. "...though, it makes me concerned about Goldenrod. It's bigger than Saffron, and has tons of people. Maybe we shouldn't split up when we get to that town, after all there's an underground path that can be confusing if you go down there without a guide or a map." He warned quietly.

Cyndaquil nodded in agreement and smiled at Watt. Taji looked over to Watt and Cyndaquil. "Laying low can be easy. Though Tiger's first time in Goldenrod lead him to a panic attack. It's a good thing Cotton found an alternative path that avoided most the crowds." He sighed.

Mira rubbed her arm. "Yeah. I don't think we should split up," She agreed. "I'm not really looking forward to Goldenrod if I'm being honest."

"Where's that?" Hori piped up. "I don't think they wanna go through crowds."

Tiger glanced at Mira and gently placed a hand on her shoulder reassuringly. "Don't worry, whenever we get to Goldenrod City. I won't leave you behind." He said gently. "After all what kind of friend would I be if I didn't stay by your side and got you lost in a city? I think I'd be filed under people like Ben and Dal if I did that in my opinion." He said gently.

"The alternative path they took was through the alley ways. Though if they go down the alley ways they'll need to be on their guard. A theif tried to rob Tiger the first time. Cotton and I didn't allow that." Cyndaquil said with a sigh and squeaked as a Pidgey flew at him.

Mira smiled at him and nudged him. "Thanks Tiger. I know you're not like them, anyway. You're a lot smarter than them, anyway, for not leaving a friend behind."

"Robbers are no problem," Watt grinned. He blinked upon seeing the Pidgey.

"I've got it!" Hori squeaked. He used a Disarming Voice.

Tiger blinked and smiled at Mira before nodding. "Thanks Mir. You're not like them either, definitely way better. I think a Magikarp would be smarter than them, and Kibo and Toka hunt them on a daily basis, and I'd never dream of leaving a friend behind."" He said with a small chuckle.

Cyndaquil nodded and watched as the Pidgey was hit and lost interest in Cyndaquil. "Robbers and wild Pokémon aren't a problem. Especially with Hori helping us." He said kindly and watched as Pidgey flew at Hori with a peck. Taji was cheering his friend on.

Mira snickered. "One could argue that a Magikarp is smarter. At least they have the good sense to travel in schools."

"He's a savage, alright," Watt curled his tail up in amusement, watching Hori stumble slightly as he moved backwards to avoid the peck. It grazed him, but he retaliated with Confusion.

Tiger laughed in amusement and nodded to Mira. "A Magikarp would definitely be smarter than them." He said cheerfully and looked around cheerfully. "Anyway do you want to stop and train for a bit?" He asked kindly.

Cyndaquil laughed in amusement. "Looks like he's going win this battle." Cyndaquil said kindly and watched as the pidgey was hit by confusion and became confused. It tried to attack Hori again, but ended up hitting itself in confusion instead.

Hori shuffled back farther and smiled softly as he watched the Pidgey. "...Do I attack again?"

"I don't think so. Not unless he attacks again." Watt flicked an ear at Hori.

The Pidgey shook its head clear and flew off in defeat. "Looks like Hori won." Tiger said with a smile and watched as the Pokémon flew off in defeat.

"Nice job, Hori!" Taji cheered happily. Cyndaquil nodded in agreement and smiled. He darted into a tree with Tiger following.

"Well if you're going to train, I'm going to watch from up here. Tell me when you're ready to go." Tiger called down to Mira kindly and smiled.

Mira grinned up at him. "Coward," She called teasingly (knowing that she was really in no danger down here) and kneeled down to Hori. "Alright, let's go find a few more pokemon to battle."

Watt scooped Hori onto his back and darted off into the tall grass with Mira in pursuit.

Tiger laughed in amusement and smiled. "Ah I might be a coward, but you don't see the Sentret that is just about." He trailed off as he narrowed his eyes. "Five feet away from you, on the left?" He said kindly.

"We're no cowards, we're on look out to help you find Pokemon easier." Cyndaquil said with a laugh and smiled cheerfully.
