Mira nodded. "Spaghetti with red sauce and cheese for me," She decided, putting down her menu. "So is there anything in particular you want to do on this journey? Other than the gyms, I mean."

Tiger blinked and looked thoughtful. "Yeah, definitely." He said with a smile. "I'd like to see Kurt, explore Ilex Forest again, go to the pokeathlon, visit the Safari zone, and maybe participate in the bug catching contest. This journey is going to be filled with other thing to do than just go to the gym." He said cheerfully.

Tiger blinked and dug into his pocket. He pulled out his pokegear and loaded up a video. On the video was Tiger at a younger age, he was wearing sports attire. Which was a black tank top, and shorts. His scar was clearly visible, as it was the attire for these events. Kibo, who was a Dratini, Cyndaquil, and Charm, who was a Charmeleon, were all at a starting line for a relay race. Cyndaquil was at the starting line, while Kibo was wrapped around Tiger's neck. Like a scarf, and Charm was standing next to Tiger. "A pokeathlon is sort of like a track and field like event." Tiger explained, once rhe signal to go went off, Tiger an Cyndaquil ran down the track passing a few trainers and Pokemon. Charm had been recalled while Kibo slithered to Tiger's wrist. "In a pokeathlon a Pokemon goes through three events. Each one is based on a class. Speed, power, skill, stamina, or Jump. This was the final event of the stamina one." He explained. "Each trainer takes three Pokémon on their team and participate in the events, and if they win their Pokémon get medals, and the trainer gains a rank. I didn't rank up much, but it was fun to try it out." He said with a small smile.

Mira smiled. "That sounds really fun, yeah!" She beamed. "I can't wait. Sounds awesome. ...But I'm not the fastest person," She shrugged.

"We don't have to do the stamina one. There are others, and I'm sure you'll find which one we should do." Tiger replied cheerfully and slipped the pokegear into his pocket. "It'll be fun, I promise." He said kindly and looked up when the waiter came to take their orders.

"With you? Of course it will be fun," Mira smiled brightly at him. Hori paced impatiently on the table. "Hey, that's impolite."

"Sorry," Hori squeaked, stopping abruptly and sitting down.

Tiger blushed slightly and Cyndaquil sighed before mumbling. "You're hopeless." He shook his head and Tiger glanced at the waiter before giving Cyndaquil a look.

"I'll take the grilled cheese, Cyndaquil wants the berry plate." He said kindly and grabbed the glass of water the waiter left for him.

Mira grinned. "A caesar salad please, and a plate of spaghetti and meatballs." She requested, taking a sip of her own water.

Mira rested her chin on her palm and looked out. "It's places like this that remind me how weird it is that Three Island doesn't have any restaurants," She rolled her eyes. "Views like this would encourage me to come to this restaurant every night."

"I see that," Mira glanced around the restaurant. "Alola, Hoenn, there's someone from Kanto. And the only reason I know is because she is basically SCREAMING with her Kantonian accent. Seriously, can't people use their inside voices inside a restaurant?"

(That's my biggest pet peeve actually. It's a restaurant, not a yelling competition.)

Tiger looked at Mira and nodded. "Agreed." He whispered gently. "Anyway, aside from the yelling." He said in a blantent attempt to shut the Kanfonian trainer up. "This restaurant is nice."
