Oh yes, absolutely. Physically it would be easier for Caroline to stay in Hoenn, but with her it's not a matter of what's easier, its what's best for her in her mind. She wanted a completely fresh start from Hoenn, as many many bad memories lay there. She doesnt want to live in that region anymore, and would rather forget that it existed altogether. She decided on Kanto because it was far enough away and there was a town there rumored for its escape from reality.


Essentially, although completely illogical, she does it. It's completely spontaneous and she knows that, but well, people tend to make irrational and emotion based decisions when they are shoved into a corner.

@AAckerman212, if you believe she had the funds or was able to hitchhike/beg her way to Kanto, then she's accepted.

Yes, I do believe so. Without revealing too much about what happened, I'll tell you that the way she got to Kanto was not the best and well, a bit shady.

@AAckerman212, provided it is not too graphic in detail to the point of being inappropriate for a PG13 RP, it would be much preferred for you to recount what had happened exactly in her travels.

Alright sure, that's fine. And no it's not innapropriate in that sense, but here we go, heres what happened then!

Caroline snuck out of her foster home due to them being mentally abusive towards her. She was forced to take care of the younger children while her foster parents did nothing to help. They paid no attention to her, but plenty to her adoptive siblings, likely because they were younger and more innocent and a 17 year old was not. Eventually she got sick of the neglect and left. She was done being used by the many families shed been with and traveled to Slateport City. She only had half the funds necessary to travel from Hoenn to Kanto, but the captain agreed to smuggle her on board for half price after she explained what exactly she was running from. When she arrived in Kanto, she dyed her hair black, factory reset her phone, even began changing the way she dressed and talked. She spent a three months in Kanto traveling to find work to save up money to become at least semi financially stable. She had to steal to keep herself afloat but thankfully was never caught. Soon after, she finally left for the Town of Thres.
