I joined two weeks ago and I hate that there are so many mini games!!! Gem cauldron, mini game, how about tall grass, mini game, fishing? Mini game! The only thing I can understand that should be mini games is the tunnel unlocked at Trainerlevel 15 and the Game Center, everything else doesn’t need to be a mini game!!!!

how else will we have them then?

The gem cauldron can be like the cooking pot in the berry farm. When you have the right amount of gems it will take some time to make it. Tall grass, it will take some time to look for a certain egg. Fishing can be a mini game, where you try to catch the Pokémon with a pokeball.

1. With the items you can get, it makes sense that the Gem Cauldron doesn't just start cooking, when you have the correct gems. It makes it a little more interesting.

2. Tall Grass - that's how it originally was, but many [many!] users didn't like the old system. It was changed to how it currently is, because the users asked it.

3. Personally, I like that you actually fish for your pokémon, rather than throw pokéball at it and hope to be lucky. We got the Honeytree for that :p
