Luna shook her head. "You do not understand. Nor will you understand. The pack needs to remain strong and I have to make sure the next generation of Alphas is strong as well. That means I cant just follow my feelings" she replied.

Luna sighed. "Are you really ready for the trials" she asked Solar.

Lyra looked at Star. "The trials happen when an Alpha finds someone to be their mate after becoming Alpha. The trials wouldn't need to be used if Luna's parents were still alive" she said.
