"Yeah, I'm from Sinnoh. Canalave. Anyway, bye. There's a cute girl and I'm not losing my chance to, ahem, flirt this time. Because weird men keep hitting on cute girls and I don't understand." Kelsey said, super blunt. "she's probably straight anyway but still-" she muttered that last part before disappearing into the Pokemon center.

Quartz was somewhat delighted that they had a chance to prove Abyss wrong- Trying to strike up somewhat friendly conversation doesn't work every time. If the way Abyss reached up to rake a fin through his non-existent hair was any indication, Abyss just realized his mistake.
"Last time i checked, Primepapes die when they lose their marbles so, Yeah- Not much of a challenge. Sorry to knock you down a peg or two."
Quartz was trained to be able to prevent these situations, self-defense and all that but turns out that their Empoleon just doesn't seem to trigger Quartzes instincts. Before they could react, Abyss scooped them up in his arms and threw them over his shoulder like a bag of potatoes.
"Wha-Not this again, Ab!" Quartz didn't attempt to get away this time, accepting their defeat.
Abyss lowered his head in a bow directed at Charlie and Goodra before he marched away to an obviously random direction, with his only intention being to get Quartz away.

The abandoned cover of the Little Prince was now laying in the grass. Pages worn and faded out, old and apperantly well loved.

(Im also going off- Two hours in the morning. Yaiks.)

Charlie just rolled her eyes in response. "And here I was hoping there were actually sane people. You're not from the big city, mm?" Goodra sniffed at Charlie. The trainer was so caught up in arguing that she barely noticed Quartz leaving.

Em shrugged and walked into the Pokemon Center. She looked around and placed Gan's pokeball on the counter before going to sit down.

Kelsey entered the Pokémon center, setting all her Pokémon's Pokeballs on the counter before looking for that girl. When she failed to find Harlow, she sighed, entering the Pokemart.

Harrison huffed, rubbing his arm. "Really sucks to be you, doesn't it." StarBurst mumbled, grinning her odd infernape grin. Harrison jumped, looking to her. "Miss me?" Harrison shook his head, still rubbing his arm. "Maybe. You gave me the silent treatment."

He looked over to the fountain, seeing a rather small girl there. Yeesh, what was an elementary kid doing outside of school? Figuring he'd be the responsible adult, he walked over with his Soare perched on his shoulder. "Hey kid. Shouldn't you be in class right now?" He asks the dark haired girl with blue eyes. "I know it's a sunny afternoon an' all, but you've got a responsibility to be in school, not sitting around in a public place.

After being handed her change, and shoving it into her pocket with the rest of it, Harlow claimed her items and brought them back into the Pokemon Center area of the building. She took a seat, placing the items on the table before her, before putting her own bag onter her knees and opening it. The bags of Pokemon food russled as she neatly placed them in her bag, being careful not to break anything. Without seconds, the small Rockruff was at her feet, tail wagging, giving her that irresistible puppy-eyed look.

She gave in. Harlow opened the bag of sweet-flavoured Pokemon food, her hand dipping in and grabbing a small hand full of the pellets. She allowed her Pokemon to eat from her hand as she held the food out in front of her. The food had gone quicker than it had arrived.

Max layed back in his seat after scoffing a load of scones! He looked over at Turtonator who was taking a nap on the floor next to him, “Hey Turtnonator, how about we do some training practise!”. Turtonator grunts in excitement. Max and Turtonator walk out of the Café to do some training practice. They walk towards this wooden target sign. “Ok turtonator, Use Flamethrower!”. Turtonator aims at the target and breathes a strong Stream of fire at the target and destroys it. “Great job Turtnoatorn! Looks like all that food has powered you up!” Said max while laughing. Turtonator nods back.

Raine was walking through town slowly taking in the sight. He knew his destination, the pokecenter, and he just wanted to walk a bit around. It was his first time that he was in Kalos and such a big city was a good place to start. His Meganium, Florus, walked right next to him. Neither of them seemed like they were in any hurry to get anywhere. It was really calming for Raine to just walk around the town. At that moment he didn't really even care about how noisy it was.

Pokemon food - dry and sweet? Check. Snacks and drinks? Check. Potions? Check. Rockruff?

Beside her, curled up and lightly snoring, was the puppy Pokemon. Already exhausted, at it wasn't even the end of the day. In all fairness, however, Rockruff was practically a baby compared to her other Pokemon so it was only understandable that the Pokemon grew tired quickly. Smiling, Harlow brought her hand down, gently petting Rockruff's head. Doing so was almost like a trigger for a flashback to when Harlow first received her.

'My grandparents visited for the first time in a while - they'd just came back from their vacation in Alola. They brought many souvenirs back with them. Knowing my love for fossils, they brought me back one that resembled a part of a jaw structure. After reviving it, it turned out to be a Pokemon, coincidentally used to be native to Kalos, called Tyrunt. They then gave me an egg that they had apparently been abandoned at a daycare there. I had never cared for an egg before. But, eventually, it hatched. She was different, and that made her worth all the trouble.'

Sighing, Harlow pulled her Poketch from her belt to pass the time, despite the slightly cracked screen, and weird noises it would make every time she touched something.

Yawning, Sienna stretched and grabbed her pokeballs. 'Time to go guys.' she told them. She hurried down the inn's stairs and jogged out the door, ready for a new day.

[[and the plot begins owo]]

Kelsey walked back out of the Pokemon center with Torterra by her side. Stretching, she glanced up at the sky, seeing it covered with clouds.

"That's weird. It was sunny before."

"Rain Dance!" a male voice commanded, as rain fell from the sky. Hard. It began to pour.

A few people in red suits stepped out from behind buildings.

"I don't like the feeling of this." Charlie said quietly, standing a bit away from Kelsey after emerging from Cafe Soleil.

"You and me both."

(Oh mang)
Harrison, startled, glanced to StarBurst, who had made her way under the nearest cover. "Where did that come from!" He took out StarBurst's pokeball, apologizing, before sending her back in. "Hhh..." He bit his lip, starting to get a bit cold. "Curse the fact that I didn't wear a jacket..."

Rain? It was raining all of a sudden? A whole torrential storm? He scowled and left the kid alone--she could find shelter on her own away from it. He already took out his pokeballs to recall his team, minus Soare. The Wingull would be happier out in the rain anyway.

He ran back into the Pokécenter, wondering if waiting out the rain would be a good idea. Then again...he looked around at the Poké Store, trying to find an umbrella. Getting wet was not on Paul's list of things to do today.

"Oh, are you serious." Lyra sassily walked off a shopping center with a few bags and a Milotic. Her long hair was being blown by the wind and the water falling from above. Her Milotic wondered what could have caused that, though it was not bothering her.

"Altaria, just...get us off here. Or something." She grabbed a Greatball and sent of an Altaria, who looked up to the heavy rain. She hoped on her back and returned Milotic.

Fretting, Harrison sent out Suzanne, hoping she could explain something to him, if she wasn't still being cold and refusing to speak to him... What if she can't, since she's ice? he thought to himself. Suzanne looked to him, shook her head, and stared up at the rain, not saying anything.

A short man with almost grey skin, strange sunglasses and an even stranger hairdo walked up with a tall woman with green hair. Both had some sort of glasses over their eyes, the man wore a fire red suit and the woman, a suit with shorts.

"Hmm. It seems our little blackout plan only effected a block of the city. Pity, we'll have to clear everyone out the hard way." the woman smiled.

The man nodded, typing something on a device. "Yes. The rain must make them hide so we can storm the streets."

Angel was hiding in an ally, watching the man and woman, not caring that she was getting soaked. "Who are they?" She muttered under her breath.

Harrison grumbled, backing up towards the pokemon center with Suzanne in toll. She sat by the entrance, still staring at the rain. "I don't think I'm allowed inside." she said simply, before going silent again. Harrison bit his lip, stepping out and standing next to her, shivering.
