Tiger nodded and smiled. "Hope he gets better." He said kindly and
got back to his feet, he brushed some hair out of his eyes.
"You need a haircut." Cyndaquil laughed and climbed onto
Tiger's shoulder.
Tiger rolled his eyes, "mom was going to take me to get it cut
soon. Don't worry, you don't have to burn me this time." He joked
cheerfully. "Oh, Kair, do you want another pokepuff before you go
home?" He asked kindly.
Tiger laughed in amusement and grabbed a chocolate pokepuff from
his bag, he held it out for Kair. "To be fair, if I don't get it
cut, then it'll be in my face all the time." He said in amusement.
"I guess, but don't you, like... FEEL that stuff? Like if you
touch my scales, I feel it. Isn't that stuff the same way?"
Kair asked, frowning confusedly. Her expression quickly changed
upon seeing the pokepuff and she squealed in delight as she
accepted it, burying her face in the frosting.
Tiger blinked slightly amused, and grabbed a napkin from his bag.
"Well to be fair, my hair is a lot like your dead scales. You don't
feel it when you lose scales as you grow, I don't feel it when my
hair gets cut." He said kindly.
Tiger nodded and shook his head in amusement. He gently wiped the
chocolate off of Kair's face. "Well yeah, it keeps my hair healthy
if I do cut it, but I don't have to cut it if I don't want to." He
explained kindly
"But if you didn't cut it would your face be nothing but
hair?" Kair laughed, licking the small remains off of her lips
before finishing the pokepuff completely.
"most likely" Tiger joked back, and Cyndaquil shook his head in
response. "Well I better head out, it was nice seeing you, Kair. Oh
and if you're looking for a get well soon present for Yas, I
recommend finding a seashell for him. It won't be too suspicious
and he might like it."
Tiger nodded and waved a goodbye to Kair. Cyndaquil smiled and
crawled off of Tiger's shoulder, he placed another oran berry on
the ground next to Kair. "Err. Here, I know I'm possibly the
most cautious Cyndaquil out there, and I was a little rude when we
met originally, but I hope your friend gets better very soon."
He said kindly and ran off after Tiger.
Kair blinked and smiled at Cyndaquil as he ran off. She grabbed the
berry and took a bite, blinking at the flavor. Not bad! I'll
have to remember what that looks like. She grinned, finishing
it off before dragging the other berry to the water's edge. She
poked around in the sand until she found a pretty-looking seashell.
It was purple on the edge and blue-ish white at the very bottom.
Content, she gripped it in her jaws lightly and dragged the berry
with her into the water with her tail, swimming cautiously back
into the cave.
"What were you two doing yesterday? I know you wouldn't
recklessly freeze yourself if it was just a game." Dragonair
asked Yas evenly.
Yas blinked and acted confused, "I don't know mom. Maybe I
accidentally shot off the move when I crashed into the wall."
He replied in his usual convincing tone and yawned.
Kair saw the scene and squeaked in slight alarm. She swam up to
them, holding the berry extremely carefully behind her back.
"Hi, Yas! I got you a get-well present!" She greeted,
holding the shell between her teeth still.
The dragonair and Yas looked up. Yas smiled and looked at the
shell, "Awesome! I love it!" He said cheerfully.
Dragonair blinked and sighed as if in defeat, and as if to give up.
She wasn't going to get an answer from him. "Hello Kair."
She said gently and looked at Yas. "Fine, I believe you. Just
rest, I'll go get you something for dinner." She said kindly
and swam off across the cave.
Once she was out of earshot, Yas let out a huge sigh of relief.
"Jeeze, I didn't think she'd stop asking me what happened."
He grumbled under his breath and flinched as he shifted his weight.
"er. Sorry about that Kair, dont worry she doesn't know anything
about yesterday.* He said quietly and yawned.
"And let's keep it that way. Sorry I wasn't there to help you
convince her," Kair blinked. She dropped the shell and put the
berry beside it. "That's from Tiger. It's really good and
apparently it'll help you feel better!"
"It's alright." Yas said kindly and sniffed at the berry. He
was going to ask what it was, but he knew his mom would be back at
any moment. He cautiously and curiously ate the berry. "You sure
this'll make me better?" He asked quietly.
Yas nodded and finished the berry, he blinked and felt a bit
better. "Yeah he seems smart. I honestly don't think he'll want
to hurt a Pokemon on purpose. How is he, and Cyndaquil?" He
asked kindly and looked at the shell.
