Jean followed them, after awkwardly helping Marie-Paul down. He huffed quietly, glad her tail was still glowing, and patted her head. "You're doing good..." he mused silently, before looking around to the others. "We're all doing good-"

"You are strong," Lee grinned and jumped down, his fall being cushioned by Ax (who had gone down before him). They followed Lili. "We are. See, guys, it's not so bad," He said in an attempt to sound cheerful.

"Yeah, who said it was?" Amaya responded, stretching her arms over her head. She ran a finger along the wall, dislodging dust. "Yikes. This place is old."

Jean stared at where the dust had dislodged. "Well, a lot of people don't seem to like wading through sewers, clean or not." He patted Marie-Paul again, and she swung her tail in response, accidentally hitting it against the wall, and she trilled angrily.

"I said it was!" Sydney called down from outside of the sewer. "And I'll be staying up here. Good luck!--"

And Mochi gave her a hard nudge, nearly sending her tumbling into the sewer.

"What, really?"

The Foongus squeaked defiantly and ducked back into her backpack.

".. I hate you."

Mochi squeaked in satisfaction as Sydney scrambled down into the sewer as well.

"What Jean said." Amaya snorted. She turned along a path. "Hey, Lili, what's that?" She said, pointing at something in the distance.

"I-I don't know? I-it looks like, uh, a trap?" Lili shrugged.

"Gotta be Plasma." Marisa said.

"Yeah. That- That doesn't help at all." Sydney grumbled, tucking her hands into her pockets. "So, what, you think this fabled 'Plasma' is hiding down here? I'm the sewers? That's disgusting. They could have gone anywhere, and they chose the sewers. Gross."

"Well, yeah, what other options are there?" Amaya pointed out. "We could be able to cut through here, if we jump." She said, motioning to a different path across the waterway. There was old stone inbetween it, cracked and scattered but could be walked on.

"We can jump, then." Marisa said, standing by the side. She ran back, then lunged forward, balancing on a rock in the midway and then making it to the other side.

"B-both of you, shh! They can hear us!" Lili said harshly, stumbling across the rocks and standing next to Bisharp and Marisa.

Amaya glanced between Sydney and Lee, raising an eyebrow. "I nominate Sydney next, though, she needs to get over her fear. And Lee, you're not really doing anything either."

Jean looked around awkwardly, before sitting next to a wall, trying not to get close to the trap, and patting Marie-Paul. "I vote for Sydney as well, though I may be biased... I think she should get over her fear as well."

"This isn't a fear! It's a logical reaction to being led into the sewers. Why does nobody else see the issue with this?" Sydney sighed, scrambling across the rocks (Mochi was cackling in her backpack the entire time). "Alright, alright. Where to now?"

Lizzy and Vincent both followed the group, going across the rocks one at a time and kept up pretty well, the both of them looking around for anything useful.
