Marisa had wandered off into deeper grass, looking for a Pokemon to catch. She knew there weren't many good Pokemon around here, but she'd hoped to find a Zorua or something. She stumbled across a Parat, glancing at Pawniard. "Just to train." She said, before instructing Pawniard to use Scratch.

"Vine whip again!" Amaya said, Ika unable to move but her attacks stronger. "That's it! Go!"

Jean began to fret. "Okay, try a tackle, bring it down a little more, and then I can catch it-" he called out, hoping she'd make it. The lillipup performed a leer directly before Marie-Paul tackled it. He glanced over to the others, before throwing the pokéball and watching anxiously as it shook back and forth

Melody raised her eyebrow at the girl go against Chili. "Such a desperate plan. Guess if it works it works though." She muttered before scrolling through her Pokedex. "So who shall our teammates be? Leaning towards the Deino line but what else?"

Sierra quickly burst out of the pokecenter, now sprinting out of Accumula Town and out to route 2. She made sure to leave with some pokeballs, and kept her Rockruff in his pokeball for the run.

"Hey, you did it!" Sydney squealed as the Patrat sprinted away. She reached down to pick Minty up and hug the Minccino. "Nice job!" She smiled happily. Mochi patted Minty's head with a squeak, and Minty basked in the attention and affection.

Sydney turned slightly to relook back towards where Jean was. "You okay over there?" She called cheerfully.

Melody stood up from her table. "Come on dear. Let's see if we can't get a Purrloin." She mused as she threw a few PokeDollars on the table and walked out of the restaurant with Luna floating after her.

Marie-Paul trotted over, tired, and Jean patted her on the head for a moment. "Well, I'm thinking of naming the lillipup Charlie, or Josh..." He let the newly-caught pokemon out of it's ball. "Hmm..."

"Josh is a nice name." Marisa muttered, looking at Josh and Jean. Pawniard stared at the Pokémon.

"Finish it with Vine Whip!" Amaya yelled, as Ika shot vines at Lillipup. Lillipup fainted.

"Aww... that was a fun battle." Chili frowned. "Fine, fine, yes you win." He said.

"Yeah, it is..." He looked around a bit more, pondering what to do. "We'll probably need to go to a Pikémon center eventually, to heal our pokemon."

(double post but it looks like we're gonna timeskip a few weeks ahead, everyone's pokemon should be in the 40s-50s range/at the 7th badge)

Amaya sighed, hands locked behind her neck in frustration. She was on her way to Opelucid city from Iccirus, after claiming her 7th badge in Mistralton city. "Ika, seriously, how long is this route? We've been here forever-" she muttered, before looking at the bridge barey in sight.

Marisa was in Opelucid, waiting to challenge the Dragon Gym. She was training wih her Pokemon, hoping for a quick battle but knowing it wouldn’t be easy.

Jean grumbled angrily to himself, glancing to Marie-Paul. He was trying to train Lucas, so he could evolve into a Braviary, before moving on to his meinshao and eelektross. Except there was one problem- Lucas kept fainting. He was getting tired of running back and forth between the pokemon center and the grass, but at least it gave him a chance to train his other pokemon
