"Thanks" Tiger said waving to Entei. Raikou looked at the
bobblehead in slight confusion. He snorted and shook his head
clear. "Why did you grab so much stuff" Tiger asked as he continued
along the path.
Tiger nodded and laughed in amusement he skidded to a stop and
looked at Blackthorn City. The route between the two towns wasn't
that long and it didn't take more than a few minutes to travel to
Blackthorn. "Alright there's a bridge that leads to a route that's
completely covered in ledges, so watch your step" Tiger said
warning the others about the route. "It's a path down the mountain
that leads right to route 29"
Raikou barked cheerfully as he heard the route back home wasn't to
far. Once he barked a small lightning bolt shot up into the sky.
"Whoa how'd I do that!" he barked cheerfully.
Tiger sighed "as you get older you'll have more control over
lighting. Just try and not shoot off to many thunder bolts as you
run" he said with a sigh.
(the battle is over everyone is heading back to New Bark Town. It's
raining)
Tiger pushed the button on his skates and went back to walking when
he walked across the bridge. After the crash in Kalos and hitting
his head on a ledge he didn't trust himself around ledges while
skating. He then looked at the sky and wiped away some raindrops
from his face. "Elm will be able to heal any wounds we might have.
Again we'd usually go to a hospital or a Pokémon center but I don't
want to risk anyone catching Raikou while he's still learning to
control some of his moves" he said gently.
Raikou yawned "Professor Elm will manage to fix everyone up! I'm
just looking forward to sleeping for a year" the small legend
barked in exhaustion.
Tiger nodded in agreement and yawned "same here" he said in an
exhausted tone.
"It's pouring." Drew commented, yawning. She was walking quickly,
pulling out an old skateboard she'd used to use, a long time ago.
Instead of walking she hopped on it and skidded across the bridge,
before regaining her balance.
Caitlyn hummed a tune she'd heard, skipping across the bridge.
She'd called Sol back, instead her Banette, Liette, was floating
beside her.
Robert and Jamie walked behind the group while Robert was
piggybacking a tired Ro. Jamie would occasionally yawn and tilt
slightly before Robert would get him straightened out again. "Note
pump caffeine into the two of you." Robert muttered while trying to
push his wet bangs out of his face.
Tiger snickered in slight amusement, and rubbed his neck. He then
winced as he touched one of the burns on his hands. "Honestly
sleeping on a tree branch was comfortable enough, but I'd honestly
like to actually change into clean clothes. I'm still wearing part
of this destroyed costume" he sighed.
"How long have we been out here anyway? We've been traveling around
for a while." Mel mused, skating through a puddle. Getting the
rebound of the splash, Riu groaned in complaint, shaking himself
out.
Tiger thought for a moment "nearly three days?" He guessed the days
had blurred together for him now. "We left for the festival about
three days ago, we spent most the day fighting in Ripple Forest,
another part of a day flying, and the rest of the time trying not
to die" he mumbled. He then jumped over a ledge, and landed in some
tall grass that marked the edge of route 29.
Mel nodded. "Yikes. Can't believe we've been outside for thee
days." She remarked tiredly. "I'm gonna take a really long nap when
we get back." She decided cheerfully.
"You and I both" Tiger mumbled in agreement and followed behind at
a slower pace. Raikou ran ahead when he saw the lights of Next Bark
Town in the distance.
