"It's alright, I'm just a bit tired, nothing to serious. Joy said
the burn won't heal properly and will just burn at the worst times,
but I'll survive." Tiger replied with a yawn, and decided against
keeping the truth about the burn from Mel. "You?" He asked
gently.
Theo smiled, and gently nudged Toffee before going back to the
couch and falling asleep once more.
Mel nodded. "Not surprising, I guess. It's a Houndoom burn, it
won't ever fully heal." She remarked quietly. "I'm fine. My team is
mostly intact. Mostly. The only one with real injuries was Riu, so
we're all good here."
Toffee smiled and scrambled up to join Theo with a yawn, quickly
clocking out.
Tiger nodded in response to Mel and shifted his weight in
discomfort as he thought about the burn. He sighed, "honestly I'm
glad you and the Pokemon didn't get any worse injuries. Sorry we
sort of lost you at the beginning of the fight." He said with a
guilty sigh.
"What, that? Yikes. That was completely my fault, I sorta bolted.
Immediately after we got there," Mel shrugged. "I saw a chance to
steal information and I took it. It's how I roll, I guess.
Granted, Riu smashed the computers
before I couldn't get anything, but hey, it's the thought that
counts. So that was my fault, don't worry about it. I'm
sorry about losing you guys."
Tiger nodded in response and blinked. He smiled faintly. "Alright
then, I'm glad you got something out of it." He said gently, and
blinked "so long as you're safe, as well as your Pokemon. Then I'm
happy. I'm just glad you weren't that hurt." He said gently, and
blinked.
“I soundly want to find myself in such a situation.” Drew laughed
as Hydregion landed. She stumbled off, waiting for Mira before
recalling Hydregion. “Pain mends. Remind me to take them.”
Mira raised her eyebrows, snickering. "C'mon, Drew, let's get
inside before you break something," She rolled her eyes fondly.
"You're not incredibly alert as of right now."
"How much of that pain stuff did they give you?" Mira
snorted, leading her into the house carefully. "Shh. They're
sleeping." She whispered, referring to Toka and Kibo.
Tiger blinked, and glanced at Drew before shaking his head in
response to Mira. "Nope not much. Toka and I were just chatting on
the way back from Mahogany, and now they're passed out." He said
kindly.
Tiger nodded, and took a few steps back. "It might be for the best
that she stays in a bed for the night." He said kindly. "I think
there might be an open one around here, if not I can sleep in the
living room. It's only for the night after all." He said kindly.
