Mira nodded at Drew, understanding. "Maybe get some pain pills
while we're there, too." She suggested.
*~*~*~*
"Yup," Toka yawned, getting up and accepting the pokeball.
"So. Level with me. Has Mira been planning something? Because
she's been doing a pretty good job of hiding it if she was."
Tiger glanced at Toka and blinked, "Mira planning something? Since
when does she do that?" He said quickly, and blinked. He was too
tired to lie to the Dragonite as well as he usually could.
Toka snorted. "Ha. Very funny. I swear, she's been doing this
for YEARS. But, I guess she's not planning anything. I would've
figured it out by now." She yawned, tired enough to basically
accept his answer.
Tiger nodded, and yawned. He called Charm out, and climbed onto the
Charizard. "Can you fly back, Toka, or do you want to walk?" He
asked curiously. Charm blinked, and waved to Toka.
"It'll be alright," Toka replied, flapping after them. She
reached her arms up and tightened the necklace from Rose as she
flew, humming.
*~*~*~*
Mira yawned, suddenly realizing how tired she was. She looked down
at the skyline and quickly took a picture of the region at their
altitude with her dex.
"Ooh, you should send me that. When I get back to Sinnoh, I'm
actually going to have a room and everything." Drew smiled. "I'd
print it and hang it up."
Tiger nodded, and glanced at the necklace before smiling, and
looking at Charm once more. "Listen, I'm glad you and Kibo found
each other again." He said kindly.
Tiger blinked, and nodded before smiling and looking at Charm.
"Honestly, Toka, I wanted to keep Kibo safer than most the Pokemon
on my team. That's a reason I never had him in Alola. Even if
Cotton and Yuki were still in the lab, I debated on bringing Kibo
with me. I left him with Elm because I thought a dragonite in Alola
would've been way to dangerous. If I recognized you sooner." He
trailed off with a sigh.
"To be fair, I evolved. It could have been difficult to
recognize a dragonair as a dratini," Toka pointed out gently.
"Don't worry about it. That's in the past, after all, and both
you and Kibo have done your jobs beautifully."
*~*~*~*
"Oh, thank you! The painting thing would just be for fun, so if
you'd like I could give you the finished product," Mira offered.
"Just give me your address and I'd send it to your house."
Tiger nodded in response to Toka and blinked. "Yeah, and you and
Mira have done your jobs amazingly as well. I'm honestly glad you
found an amazing trainer to take care of you." He said with a
partially relieved sigh.
"Thanks Tiger," Toka smiled and flew higher to flick Tiger
with the tip of her tail. "I don't even believe in fate, but
it's pretty awesome that you met Mira. What luck, right?" She
grinned.
*~*~*~*
"I will!" Mira grinned. "And yeah, of course I want you to keep it.
Sinnoh, you say? I can't wait."
"Have you ever been?" Drew asked curiously. "Like I've said, I live
in a house I rent with friends in Snowpoint. It's like a winter
wonderland, but freezing cold. If you're not used to it. So bring a
few jackets." She laughed, Hydregion landing.
