"Me? ...Standard. I got some commissions from Oak and had to go to the mainland for a bit. Otherwise, it's mostly been teaching the twins and dealing with consistent emails from Colin about how he loves working for Bill. Only two major things happened, really; I figured out how to understand a few species of pokemon. The second... Well, that can wait until we get back to New Bark," Mira explained, adding the last part somewhat quietly.

((sorry i had to do like 15 chores l m a o ))

Drew stood, jumping up at the sound of something behind her. She turned, sighing with relief as she saw it was just her partner, Mismagius, bumping into something. Drew yawned. "Must've fallen back asleep..." she mumbled, running a comb through her messy hair as she grabbed her things and exited the hotel room, walking out. "They said... New Bark Town? Right?" She asked, her Mismagius responding in somewhat of a nod, before both of them began walking down a small path.

Caitlyn grinned at her Blaziken as they ran through the forest. It was another day of their training to become official Pokémon Rangers, and they'd been sent on a small quest, to retrieve a certain Pokémon. However, they weren't exactly sure what the Pokémon was, all they knew was that it was a fire type.

"Mismagius, is that where we're going?" Drew asked out loud, pointing to a small house visible through the trees that lined the path.

"Yes, it appears so. Maybe there's something cool to do there, too." Mismagius replied.

"Well, obviously? I mean, there's gotta be people there, too, y'know?" Drew shrugged.

"Like them?" Mismagius said, a somewhat sardonic edge in the ghost type's voice, vaguely pointing to an all-too familiar looking group of people.

"Well, yeah, those are peop- oh god. Those are people." Drew said, grimacing as she stepped backwards, tripping over something and falling into a tree with a loud smack.

"This is such a great way to start our trip." Drew mumbled, rubbing her ears where they were affected by the noise.

"Vacation, you mean?"

"Mismagius. We're here for a job."

Caitlyn had made it into the center of the forest. "Riiight... there's gotta be some fire types here, right?!" She cheered.

"Well, it's a forest, grass is weak to fire." Blaziken pointed out.

Caitlyn rolled her eyes. "Well no duh, Sol, but there can still be fire types here!"

"Oh, definitely," Mira smirked. "That's why I was deathly afraid of crowds for years. The mainland was more than overwhelming. How many people live in Orre, just out of curiosity?"

"Great. So now I've got a couple people stalking me and a few people to avoid. What'll I do next? I gotta make it to New Bark." Drew thought aloud.

"Why not just fly?" Mismagius suggested.

"You're being helpful for once? I'm so proud." Drew snickered. "But that won't work. I don't have a flying type, dummy." Drew laughed, sort of loudly, as Mismagius glared at her.

"Just hold on!" Mismagius rolled her eyes before pulling Drew up with the [weird thingys on the bottom of the pokemon] and carrying her.

"WaitWAITWAITNO!" Drew screamed, trying to get down but then stopping when they began to float over the other group. She became still as a statue, biting her lip to keep herself from screaming.

"Sol, Liette, let's go this way." Caitlyn sighed, she'd called out her Banette for moral support.

"There's a city right there!" Sol pointed out, he motioned to the outskirts of New Bark town barely visible.

"Mismagius! Let me go!" Drew yelled, not really caring anymore.

Mismagius smirked before releasing Drew and watching her tumble down from the sky. Mismagius had always been cruel and mischevious, but good-hearted, somehow. Drew yelped, not expecting that to actually happen, frantically scanning the area for a safe place to land.

"BYALLTHATISGOODANDHOLYANDBYTHEPOWEROFUHJAYSGOODCRAPPYMINDPLEASEHELPME!!!" Drew yelled, Mismagius calmly floating by her.
